Russia's business elites signal they are tired of propping up the wartime economy.
He really does look like a Russian version of Trump now, or vice versa. Beady eyed short fingered vulgarian.

Been hearing this for a long time. Where’s the beef?

I'm hoping the illness rumours are true.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | July 27, 2024 6:55 AM |
Piece of Russian shit.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | July 27, 2024 8:57 AM |
r5, are the rumours of a terminal illness? Say, hepatocellular carcinoma from too much vodka and more liver damage from green potatoes?
by Anonymous | reply 7 | July 27, 2024 11:01 AM |
The war in Ukraine must come to an end, one way or another.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | July 27, 2024 11:09 AM |
Of course, OP. Just like China's economy has been collapsing for years, Iran is on the verge of a pro-Western revolution, North Koreans are starving and desperate to live like South Koreans, Cubans are still being victimized by Castro and Venezuela before Obama's and Trump's sanctions was hell on earth.
American media should just keep telling all these things to itself and maybe, just maybe, they will become true.
Oh, and before anyone starts: yes, I am a Russian/Chinese/Iranian bot, a fat femme tranny who is poor, old and ugly and the usual battery of ridiculous insults.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | July 27, 2024 11:27 AM |
No, you're a tankie, comrade.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | July 27, 2024 11:29 AM |
You're just a cunt fill of ad hominems and finger-wagging yourself, r9. The article was about interest rates.
I hope Ukraine enjoys the $1.5 BILLION in frozen Russian assets the EU gave them yesterday.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | July 27, 2024 11:30 AM |
Do you realize that the EU has just committed economic suicide by doing that, R11? Everyone is going to retire their investments from the EU and no money is going in ever again, since investors know that the European market is not safe and their assets can be stolen for arbitrary reasons. And if the US has avoided this is because they're using the EU as their proxy to engage in financial crimes - yes, this is called theft.
In the West we're hastening our collapse through the most desperate measures imaginable: sanctions that have brought about de-dollarization and the consolidation of the ever-expanding BRICS, soaring inflation and energy prices, accelerated de-industrialization and financial instability and uncontrolled immigration caused by food shortages in the Developing World, resulting from the war in Ukraine. But oh, we're "hurting" Russia so badly... Even the IMF admits that its economy is growing faster than that of almost every other country on earth.

You lost me at arbitrary.

Suddenly, more Russian businessmen strangely fall out of windows.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | July 27, 2024 2:37 PM |
Putin and Trump will live to be at least 100. Evil monsters live long lives. I think their hatred fuels them.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | July 27, 2024 3:08 PM |
Wasn't he supposed to be terminally ill and dead by now?

[quote] Everyone is going to retire their investments from the EU and no money is going in ever again, since investors know that the European market is not safe and their assets can be stolen for arbitrary reasons
And then park their money….where, exactly R12?
Saudi Arabia? Nigeria? Latin America? Southeast Asia?
Oh and everyone knows the only reason Russia’s economy is “growing” is because they’re spending more than a third of the national budget producing arms for their disastrous war against Ukraine. And everything produced is getting destroyed along with the workforce needed to produce more and keep the country’s infrastructure from collapsing.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | July 27, 2024 3:35 PM |

R9, so are you saying the terrible news about you we've been hoping for isn't going to happen right away?
Well, all good things are worth waiting for.
Calling people idiots because you imagine they will call you names tells your future.

Russian "business elites" only serve at the pleasure of the sovereign.
If Vlad doesn't want you to be rich or powerful anymore, you aren't rich or powerful anymore.
These so-called business elites only made and make money due to the government having awarded them the ability to operate in their various markets in the first place.
