Are we really not talking about “The Black Widower” on Max?

I searched a few different ways. It’s so cringe, I loved every minute of it.

It’s way too long, could have been told in an hour, but they stretched it out to three 45 minute episodes, I love when they do that.

Trashy narcissist whose life is ruled by “sex, drugs and rock and roll” — but even more so, by talking himself up — is married six times in his 68 years, and four of the six die, some under mysterious circumstances. His primary forms of income seem to be selling drugs, and collecting hundreds of thousands of dollars in life insurance money from policies he took out on the now-stiff wives.

Charged twice in the deaths of two of the wives. Acquitted on the first one, convicted on the second one after a retrial.

He was one of those guys who wore his hair long in the 70s and it looked ok, so he just assumed it would still look ok when he’s doughy and decrepit in his late 50s. 🙄

[Quote] Lemme guess, Oklahoma?

He moved around a lot. One of his trials was in the Pacific Northwest (Washington I think?), the other in Vegas.

By the way, this piece of work in Vegas was his first trial judge. Her stupid ruling on evidence led to his conviction being overturned and a retrial (convicted again).
