French tacos – the fast-food pride of France

Looks good, actually

Practically every culture has a flatbread of some sort. Tortillas, crepes, moo shu, pancakes, lavash, pizza, naan, blini, chapati, lefse, the list is endless.

This isn't a flatbread.

Did you even see it?

It's a burrito.

Or as Taco Bell calls it, a "crunch wrap."

Crepes and tacos originated in Beynac France.

The bread wrapping the outside is the flatbread.

R3 is exactly right. That ain't nothing but a crunch wrap. Those french dudes dialing it up a notch with the ingredients. But a crunchwrap should be called a crunch wrap. But calling it a Taco is just an insult to Mexican fast food nomenclature.

They make them with their feet. Ask a Brit they will tell you.

These look much better than the horrible Taco Bell crunch wraps.

I would bet that a French version of anything Mexican would be the better choice.

Some kind of "paste" with Middle Eastern spices, American yellow cheese, shredded cheese, chicken, SHAKSHUKA!, and a weird French cheese sauce smothering everything.

That was NOT a taco, and I don't even want to imagine what it tastes like.
