Honestly Hillary probably has more reality-based compassion for Kamala Harris right now than anyone else. Hillary alone knows what it's like to campaign as a woman, for the US presidency, against Donald Trump.

Obama in his quixotism held on to the belief that there might be a better way to choose a candidate, because if Kamala loses it's an indictment on him and a validation of Trumpism.
