I'm about to open a bottle of old-vine red Zinfandel and let it air while I finish up tonight's dinner of creamy garlic chicken breasts with mushrooms, colored bell pepper, and capers I'll spoon over fresh fettuccine; and a nice Caesar salad. Peach and cherry cobbler for dessert.

Meanwhile, I'll have a quick margarita with crushed, muddled fresh ginger.

I'm still hungover from the ridiculous buzz I caught last night. Blacked out. Fell down. My husband was not pleased. I plan to have sober week but right now I am sipping a canned tequila and soda to take the edge off. Just a couple. Weaning myself off so I can have a sober week.
