You can tell she's never had a face-lift because of the laxity in her lower face, and her lips look 100% natural. I think she does a lot of facials and maybe decades of tretinoin because she has terrific skin. Republicans attack Gretchen Whitmer with INSANE lawsuit

I'm not familiar with Michigan or its politics. However, looking at the results from 2022, I see that she won by 470k votes. However, that margin is totally accounted for her winning margin in just three counties: Wayne, Oakland, and Washtenaw. Wayne I understand because that's Detroit, but what's the situation in Oakland and Washtenaw that makes them mostly unlike the rest of Michigan?

Washtenaw County is where Ann Arbor is located. That's a very liberal city.

Oakland County is the richest county in the state and used to be red, but started to flip (I think) when Obama was in office.

Those who want Biden ruling America from memory care don’t read enough to know that a vital point of a candidate like Whitmer is that she may be able to deliver key swing states.

Whitmer/Shapiro would be unbeatable.

Oakland County is home of Bloomfield Hills. It’s the Orange County of Michigan.

R12, I grew up in Michigan and can tell you that's a totally authentic, if not especially florid, Michigan accent. She's not faking it, FFS. That's how Michiganders--even well-educated ones--speak.

Another thing: The Michigan accent can be a sneaky fucker to eradicate. I went to high school and college in the Northeast and still, in my 50s, have to work to keep those wide-open Michie vowels out of my diction.
