I have stopped watching MSNBC this week, and I am a 24/7 (except for that shitty Dateline crap) watcher.

I did catch Jake Soboroff asking a Republican twinkette about her views, but he never asked he if she wanted to die in childbirth or be forced to deliver and raise her rapist's baby?

by Anonymousreply 1July 17, 2024 12:34 PM

Katy Turd is embarrassing herself at the RNC 💩

by Anonymousreply 2July 17, 2024 1:11 PM

I wonder if JD will send his wife and children off to the same Concentration Plantation as Nikki Haley?

by Anonymousreply 3July 17, 2024 1:28 PM

Thanks, OP.

by Anonymousreply 4July 17, 2024 8:49 PM

It really grates on me that Nicolle - who surely knows better - diminishes the reliability of the Fox News poll (as she did today in the context of those in favor of SCOTUS reform. Fox’s polling operation is famously independent of the news department & is highly rated.

by Anonymousreply 5July 17, 2024 8:51 PM

Biden has been tested positive for Covid for the third time.

by Anonymousreply 6July 17, 2024 10:30 PM

[quote] Biden has been tested positive for Covid for the third time.

Oh, dear.

by Anonymousreply 7July 17, 2024 11:07 PM

Nicole Wallace was on television trashing Obama over Iran, saying that he needed to be impeached right before her MSNBC gig. She’s a con artist.

by Anonymousreply 8July 17, 2024 11:07 PM

Lawrence makes me laugh "This is such a low rated convention."

by Anonymousreply 9July 17, 2024 11:35 PM

Lawrence & Joy are the only rational ones now.

Ratings are going down!!!

by Anonymousreply 10July 17, 2024 11:46 PM

Seated alongside Joy Ann at 7:45pm, both Ari and Jen quipped about Navarro's addressing the RNC "almost during/prior to prime time." Ouch!

Did Joy Ann ever disavow her self-acclaimed title of "first Black woman prime time news host?" Poor dear.

Her makeup looks good tonight, but I hope she's not growing out the buzz cut (her best look ever); time to see the barber, Joy.

by Anonymousreply 11July 18, 2024 12:10 AM

Ugh Alex Wagner is soo snide.

She doesn’t represent the MSNBC audience.

by Anonymousreply 12July 18, 2024 12:29 AM

Ugh, Alex W and Chris H; I'm outta here, and will check back in later.

by Anonymousreply 13July 18, 2024 12:38 AM

Alex Wagner’s whole job is to read a teleprompter, yet she can’t articulate simple words.

Don’t want to hear this bitch talking about Biden’s gaffes.

by Anonymousreply 14July 18, 2024 12:49 AM

Chris Hayes just said a few minutes ago to Claire McCaskill that we definitely know that Schumer met with Biden, we know that that happened

Now Rachel comes on and says NBC can not confirm that this happened take it with a grain of salt.

by Anonymousreply 15July 18, 2024 1:06 AM

R15 Maddow said NBC can not confirm that Schumer and Jeffries were telling Biden to drop out during their meeting (as ABC reported). She never said that NBC can't confirm there was a meeting.

by Anonymousreply 16July 18, 2024 2:21 AM

Wes Moore (aka 'Todd Bridges') is in the house !

by Anonymousreply 17July 18, 2024 2:21 AM

Alicia Menendez has had a lot of work done on her original face. Cheek implants, nose job and I'll venture to guess those are green contacts.

by Anonymousreply 18July 18, 2024 4:12 AM

R18, All paid for with gold bars.

by Anonymousreply 19July 18, 2024 4:20 AM

I'm sick of Katy Tur, she's on too much. Plus, she sounds like a Republican. Ugh.

by Anonymousreply 20July 18, 2024 4:50 PM

DL fave David Gura back with Bloomberg interviewing Governor Kathy Hochul.

In case you were looking for him.

by Anonymousreply 21July 18, 2024 5:51 PM

Katy Tur is having multiple orgasms over Biden losing donors. How is it possible to suck so much?

by Anonymousreply 22July 18, 2024 7:03 PM

Are we sure Tim Miller is gay?

He's in the studio for D:WH looking all washed up.

A black shirt with the blazer hon, so your pearls compliment the blazer.

I want to like him so bad y'all....

by Anonymousreply 23July 18, 2024 9:14 PM

Joy is being especially cunty tonight.

by Anonymousreply 24July 18, 2024 11:05 PM

[quote] Are we sure Tim Miller is gay?

No, but his husband is.

by Anonymousreply 25July 18, 2024 11:25 PM

Can someone please give Ari some hair dye for that skunk stripe on his head ? He looks terrible.

by Anonymousreply 26July 18, 2024 11:45 PM

Apparently Tim Miller was straight before becoming gay.

by Anonymousreply 27July 19, 2024 12:44 AM

Weren’t we all, R27?

by Anonymousreply 28July 19, 2024 12:53 AM

Can Ari make his disdain for Maddow any more obvious ? He always looks so miserable sitting at the desk with her moderating.

by Anonymousreply 29July 19, 2024 1:10 AM

R29, that's because he can't stand lazy people who work 1 day a week.

by Anonymousreply 30July 19, 2024 1:16 AM

[quote]Can Ari make his disdain for Maddow any more obvious ? He always looks so miserable sitting at the desk with her moderating.

I'm Team Ari on this one. She seems insufferable, her delivery is super annoying, and most of what she says is common knowledge that she feels compelled to "explain" to the audience in a condescending manner.

by Anonymousreply 31July 19, 2024 1:22 AM

Joy looks like she has Vitiligo tonight.

by Anonymousreply 32July 19, 2024 1:22 AM

Nicolle Wallace's random cackling outbursts are ridiculous.

by Anonymousreply 33July 19, 2024 1:25 AM

The 'girls' made sure they froze Ari right out of the conversation they were having. He didn't utter a word, and he didn't laugh at Maddow or Wallace once. He's the isolated kid at school who ate his lunch at the cool kid's table, was ignored, and got up and left.

by Anonymousreply 34July 19, 2024 1:42 AM

[quote] Can someone please give Ari some hair dye for that skunk stripe on his head ? He looks terrible.

I believe Rudy might have some.

by Anonymousreply 35July 19, 2024 1:46 AM

Clearly Republicans are planning to have enough people not certify the election which will throw the election into the House of Reps where each state gets one vote, more states will have Republican majorities and they will elect Trump, all perfectly legal.

by Anonymousreply 36July 19, 2024 1:48 AM

where’s lawrence?

by Anonymousreply 37July 19, 2024 1:51 AM

Sitting with the panel. They swapped Jen Psaki out for him.

by Anonymousreply 38July 19, 2024 1:56 AM

Ivanka looks to have aged ten years since we last saw her.

Little girl, please peel that piece of paper off Grandpa Sir's face.

by Anonymousreply 39July 19, 2024 2:00 AM

Here's Melania looking rather flat-chested ... BPV?

by Anonymousreply 40July 19, 2024 2:13 AM

I just turned on Rachel and saw this demented woman waving a microphone and thoght, why is she shrieking about the power of MAGA? Then Rachel called her "Steph" and all was clear, Going back to her roots triggered a seizure in Stephanie Ruhle. To be fair,I would have vomited if I were in that room.

by Anonymousreply 41July 19, 2024 2:21 AM

I can't wait to hear Lawrence's comments on the speech.

by Anonymousreply 42July 19, 2024 2:50 AM

I really like Symone, she's a spitfire. I like women like that.

by Anonymousreply 43July 19, 2024 4:38 AM

Simone is the embodiment of the Sapphire racial stereotype. Sapphire Spitfire, indeed.

by Anonymousreply 44July 19, 2024 4:49 AM

No one is more desperate than that loser Tim Ryan.

by Anonymousreply 45July 19, 2024 11:45 AM

R29 and R31.

I’m in total agreement. She is beyond thinking she is so important. Never liked her. Preachy, pontificating, and smarmy know-it-all.

Insufferable, unwatchable, hard pass.

by Anonymousreply 46July 19, 2024 2:03 PM

I’d rather listen to political commentary from people like Nicolle Wallace or Jen Psaki or even Symone Sanders who have actually worked on campaigns or worked for a President, rather than Maddow who has a fancy degree from Oxford but has spent her entire life bloviating on radio and TV but not actually doing anything of importance.

by Anonymousreply 47July 19, 2024 2:12 PM

For Michael Steele.

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 48July 19, 2024 2:22 PM

I don't understand the Rachel backlash. She's brilliant and there's no one like her. She holds everyone to a higher standard. MSNBC gave her a sweetheart deal that's embarrassing and essentially pays her to do the podcasts she'd do anyway. But i can't hate her for having better negotiators than they do.

Let me guess that Ari is intimidated by Rachel's braininess and her failure to respond to his lame rap allusions. I like him but he's long-winded and has difficulty making points. Rachel doesn't.

by Anonymousreply 49July 19, 2024 3:27 PM

The words brilliant and Rachel Maddow do not belong in the same sentence.

by Anonymousreply 50July 19, 2024 3:36 PM

Yes, they do. She may not be your cup of tea but the intellect is there.

by Anonymousreply 51July 19, 2024 3:39 PM

Bless your heart, R51.

by Anonymousreply 52July 19, 2024 3:43 PM

She's too tentative when it comes to speaking about Trump. Joy spits it out.

by Anonymousreply 53July 19, 2024 3:49 PM

Katy Tur. Again.

by Anonymousreply 54July 19, 2024 4:08 PM

There is no reason Ari would be intimated by Rachel. He is a Cornell Law grad and lawyer.

by Anonymousreply 55July 19, 2024 4:13 PM

I watch Rachel and don't hate her but I do find her extremely condescending at times and she is in love with the sound of her own voice and opinions. There is a reason she only normally has one guest on her show, there is no time for more when she is done bloviating. In my opinion MSNBC would have been better served by just letting her leave and not giving her $85 million do only do one night a week most weeks and some podcasts that I will never listen to but have to listen to endlessly promote. MSNBC should have have told her, either do five nights a week or none.

by Anonymousreply 56July 19, 2024 4:20 PM

Hmm. Ari, a wigger who caters to Black pop culture not be intimidated by

Rachel, BA Stanford, Public Policy, Rhode's Scholar (turned down a Marshal for the Rhodes) and a DPhil University of Oxford.

Are is not only intimidated, he is shamed by her academic cred.

by Anonymousreply 57July 19, 2024 4:25 PM

At least Ari is tolerable, R57.

by Anonymousreply 58July 19, 2024 4:33 PM

I find Rachel more tolerable than the insufferable smugness of Melber.

by Anonymousreply 59July 19, 2024 4:36 PM

At least Ari is sexy. Rachel not so much.

by Anonymousreply 60July 19, 2024 4:40 PM

Ari is as sexy as a Friday blintz.

by Anonymousreply 61July 19, 2024 8:31 PM

I tuned in and got a slice of the José Díaz-Balart sub for Turd, and he ended his show with a hit job on Ice, Mexican Criminals and Sanctuary Cities.

WTF, has the Military industrial complex gotten to MSNBC through ComCast NBC? Is the only liberal media outlet going to be absorbed block by block? And now Hamas Habibi is in for Nicolle. WTF?

by Anonymousreply 62July 19, 2024 8:39 PM

Why is MSNBC taking election tips from Tim Ryan who lost to JD Vance?????

by Anonymousreply 63July 19, 2024 8:39 PM

[quote]and some podcasts that I will never listen to

Your loss, r56.

by Anonymousreply 64July 19, 2024 8:46 PM

Ari is now 44 years old and looks at least 10 years older. Yet, he believes he's still a Wigga in his 20s. He's really suffering from an identity crisis.

by Anonymousreply 65July 19, 2024 9:40 PM

R63, Tim Ryan ran an outstanding race against Vance. He is blameless for having the misfortune of being an Ohioan.

by Anonymousreply 66July 19, 2024 10:08 PM

Still a loser.

by Anonymousreply 67July 20, 2024 12:38 AM

If Tim Ryan is a loser, so is every other ambitious Democratic pol living in a red state.

by Anonymousreply 68July 20, 2024 12:59 AM

You forget Sherrod Brown is a senator from Ohio.

by Anonymousreply 69July 20, 2024 1:03 AM

Tim Ryan is a manipulative asshole.

He wants to be Kamala’s VP.

Nope.

by Anonymousreply 70July 20, 2024 1:19 AM

Alex Wagner is a TRUMPER!

She puts up alot of PRO-TRUMP stories and alot of ANTI-BIDEN stories.

get this bitch FIRED!

by Anonymousreply 71July 20, 2024 1:52 AM

[quote]You forget Sherrod Brown is a senator from Ohio.

Yes, and he's also asking Biden to drop out.

by Anonymousreply 72July 20, 2024 2:02 AM

And, R69, Sherrod Brown first got elected to the Senate when Ohio was more of a swing state. And it’s a helluva lot easier getting elected in any state running as an incumbent than running as a challenger or running for an open seat.

by Anonymousreply 73July 20, 2024 3:10 AM

Just saw this on Twitter. Not including the Twitter account name because I know how some of you self hating closeted. MAGA Katiy Turd ass sniffing bitches can be:

“BREAKING: At least 2 sources very familiar with the situation as it develops are say theat Katy Tur could be OUT at @MSNBC as early as this evening. During the broadcast today, she gave no indication that it would be her final appearance, but executives have had enough.”

👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

by Anonymousreply 74July 20, 2024 3:13 AM

R74, try English.

by Anonymousreply 75July 20, 2024 4:46 AM

Stuart Stevens is brilliant:

“As legendary NY Times editor Abe Rosenthal told a reporter in a different era, “At the New York Times, when we cover the circus, we don’t fuck the elephants.”

by Anonymousreply 76July 20, 2024 5:50 AM

Really surprised about Katy Tur. Is it time for a clean-out at MSNBC?

I searched around for ratings info and found this: "MSNBC’s worst week of the year, so far, came during the first week of the third quarter. During the second quarter of 2024, MSNBC averaged 810,000 total viewers compared to 1.3 million for Fox News and 618,000 for CNN."

These numbers are so pathetic. There are ordinary-people youtube channels that do as well, from the backroom of their apartment.

by Anonymousreply 77July 20, 2024 6:24 AM

If she's out, I say give her daily time slot to Katie Phang. She's earned it.

by Anonymousreply 78July 20, 2024 6:33 AM

R74 yes, but who's decision? She might have gotten an offer from Fox and given notice. (or was interviewing in secret and MSNBC found out about it).

by Anonymousreply 79July 20, 2024 7:01 AM

I like her personality. There are quite a few that are on my last nerve, with the talons and cackles and rapping and lecturing.

by Anonymousreply 80July 20, 2024 7:03 AM

Oops - I was responding to R78, the post about Katie Phang - love her. Can't stand Tur[ncoat].

by Anonymousreply 81July 20, 2024 7:04 AM

If Katy Tur leaves MSNBC, she’ll be on Fox News the next day.

by Anonymousreply 82July 20, 2024 12:15 PM

Make it the STEELE & SYMONE Show!

by Anonymousreply 83July 20, 2024 12:34 PM

Michael Steele asking Alicia Menendez asking how this week landed for her. Had to be the most clueless question ever, since her father was found guilty.

by Anonymousreply 84July 20, 2024 1:55 PM

Here's Vaughn Hillyard at another Trump rally.

by Anonymousreply 85July 20, 2024 5:08 PM

Michelle Goldberg is a QUACK.

by Anonymousreply 86July 20, 2024 11:25 PM

[quote]Let me guess that Ari is intimidated by Rachel's braininess and her failure to respond to his lame rap allusions. I like him but he's long-winded and has difficulty making points. Rachel doesn't.

I disagree. Rachel is the one who is long-winded and drones on and on and on for twenty-five minutes to finally make a point that could have been reached in two.

by Anonymousreply 87July 20, 2024 11:36 PM

We agree to disagree.

by Anonymousreply 88July 21, 2024 1:30 AM

R87 You are correct in a basic sense. However, she's entertaining when she speaks and she holds your attention while she's speaking.

by Anonymousreply 89July 21, 2024 2:47 AM

Rachel has been very clear on why she does it like she does it. She's not for the impatient viewer. Details that may seem extraneous do end up being a connective part of the story.

by Anonymousreply 90July 21, 2024 2:55 AM

No, she just likes to hear herself talk on and on.

by Anonymousreply 91July 21, 2024 5:47 AM

Whatever blows your dress up, r91.

by Anonymousreply 92July 21, 2024 5:51 AM

SYMONE!!!!!

by Anonymousreply 93July 21, 2024 12:41 PM

NAILS !!!!!

by Anonymousreply 94July 21, 2024 12:53 PM

TITS!!!!!

by Anonymousreply 95July 21, 2024 1:02 PM

EARRINGS !

by Anonymousreply 96July 21, 2024 2:17 PM

I like Rep Adam Smith on the show, and going at it with Symone. I can't believe he's only 59 - he looks a good five / six years older. He is sexy, though.

by Anonymousreply 97July 21, 2024 2:19 PM

Can we have a three hour 'The Weekend' every Saturday and Sunday and dump 'Velshi' ?

by Anonymousreply 98July 21, 2024 2:27 PM

Trolls hate smart women.

It's a Republican plank.

by Anonymousreply 99July 21, 2024 2:30 PM

[quote]And, [R69], Sherrod Brown first got elected to the Senate when Ohio was more of a swing state. And it’s a helluva lot easier getting elected in any state running as an incumbent than running as a challenger or running for an open seat.

Yes, indeed, R73.

And it's both amazing and terrifying how low we've sunk when in hindsight Ken Blackwell looks like Rashida Tlaib.

by Anonymousreply 100July 21, 2024 2:37 PM

Any more news on Katie Tur(minated)?

by Anonymousreply 101July 21, 2024 3:43 PM

FUCKING KATY TUR? For this story?

The world and MSNBC has gone mad.

by Anonymousreply 102July 21, 2024 6:06 PM

Fucking Cornell Belcher says that unless Kamala Harris is anointed the Dems will lose to Trump.

by Anonymousreply 103July 21, 2024 6:15 PM

Now THIS is breaking news.

by Anonymousreply 104July 21, 2024 6:22 PM

Why did they bring in Katy Tur? Jen was doing great.

by Anonymousreply 105July 21, 2024 6:39 PM

MSNBC is covering this as if they announced Joe Biden died. Everyone calling in to 'remember him' and 'remember his legacy'. He is still alive, folks !

by Anonymousreply 106July 21, 2024 6:47 PM

For many Democrats, this is as close to mourning as possible without a dead body.

by Anonymousreply 107July 21, 2024 6:49 PM

Maddow in the house ! She's explaining it's a moment in history where we will always remember where we were and what we were doing when the news broke.

by Anonymousreply 108July 21, 2024 6:57 PM

What are you saying to your TV while listening to Tur flap her gums.

by Anonymousreply 109July 21, 2024 6:58 PM

Rachel is actually working?

by Anonymousreply 110July 21, 2024 6:58 PM

[quote]...Cornell Belcher says that unless Kamala Harris is anointed the Dems will lose to Trump.

I am certain he did not use the word "anointed;" otherwise, Cornell Belcher's assessment is correct.

by Anonymousreply 111July 21, 2024 7:00 PM

Katy Tur DARED to put Maddow on 'hold' to pick up the call waiting call from 'Monica' ? And then let Monica ramble on ? And Maddow stayed on the other line ?

Never thought I'd see the day.

by Anonymousreply 112July 21, 2024 7:28 PM

Rachel coming back to host coverage at 7pm EST tonight.

by Anonymousreply 113July 21, 2024 7:40 PM

Thanks, R113.

by Anonymousreply 114July 21, 2024 7:49 PM

Joy, Nicholle and Jen will all be on tonight with Rachel as well.

by Anonymousreply 115July 21, 2024 8:02 PM

Nicholle will bring nothing to the conversation except her giggles.

by Anonymousreply 116July 21, 2024 8:04 PM

Oh I just love MSBNC's hen do's.

by Anonymousreply 117July 21, 2024 8:10 PM

Symone's tits are in the house - along with Symone's head in the background.

by Anonymousreply 118July 21, 2024 8:12 PM

Katy Tur sure has had a lot of air time lately. What's she up to?

by Anonymousreply 119July 21, 2024 8:14 PM

I despise Katie Turd. Trump loving bias bitch! I’m not in the mood for her shit today.

by Anonymousreply 120July 21, 2024 8:39 PM

Mike Memoli thinking, DAMN Joe, I am MSNBC's Biden expert, will I get fired now.

by Anonymousreply 121July 21, 2024 8:51 PM

It gets fucking worse. Go to bed Andrea Mitchell. Was that her doing all that coughing in the background? I guess I'll have to wait until 6 PM.

by Anonymousreply 122July 21, 2024 9:05 PM

That anorexic pockmarked BITCH Andrea Mitchell has some gotdamn fucking nerve to play in our faces with her "Wwwwe have uh uh been been uh uh dis..discussing uh uh President Biden's uh uh not only uh uh physical ah ah AND ccccog.. uh cognitive decline uh uh the last few uh months."

I wish to God Biden had fucking SKEWERED her at the WH Correspondents' Dinner. I mean, talking about pot and kettle.

by Anonymousreply 123July 21, 2024 9:16 PM

LOL@r123!!!

by Anonymousreply 124July 21, 2024 9:30 PM

Y'all said Katy Tur is getting fired/in hot water?

by Anonymousreply 125July 21, 2024 9:48 PM

No, r125, we *all* did not say that.

by Anonymousreply 126July 21, 2024 9:52 PM

No, Joy, the '68 convention wasn't an "open" convention. Chaotic for other reasons, but not because it was open. Humphrey came to Chicago will all the delegates he needed.

by Anonymousreply 127July 21, 2024 11:11 PM

Calm yourself, Rachel. Manchin is talking about running as a Democrat - in the "open" convention - not as an independent.

by Anonymousreply 128July 21, 2024 11:20 PM

[quote]Maddow in the house ! She's explaining it's a moment in history where we will always remember where we were and what we were doing when the news broke.

In other words, she’s stating the obvious and pretending like it’s some great insight because it came out of her Oxford-educated yap.

by Anonymousreply 129July 21, 2024 11:32 PM

Rachel can't remember Dems coalescing around a presidential candidate this quickly. I guess she's forgotten about the goings-on in March 2020.

by Anonymousreply 130July 22, 2024 12:06 AM

Joy's dress is making me nervous, she should move her mic up.

by Anonymousreply 131July 22, 2024 12:54 AM

KAMALA LFG!!!!!

by Anonymousreply 132July 22, 2024 1:20 AM

MSNBC drug out John Meacham earlier and now Michael Beschloss can we be expecting Doris Kearns Goodwin next or has that wig already been put to bed?

by Anonymousreply 133July 22, 2024 2:01 AM

by Anonymousreply 138July 22, 2024 2:36 PM

I hope Kamala is annointed in good olive oil.

by Anonymousreply 139July 22, 2024 7:41 PM

Three hours of Deadline White House today, Ari must be off doing some rapping.

by Anonymousreply 140July 22, 2024 8:23 PM

It’s not rapp rapp, R140.

“Kamala Harris’ office has had a staggering 91.5 percent turnover rate since she became vice president, an investigation from government watchdog organization Open The Books (OTB) revealed on Monday. Of the 47 staff members hired when Harris took office in 2021, only four reportedly remained in her employment as of March 2024.

The report comes as Biden’s X account announced he will “stand down” from his reelection campaign and “fully support” Harris as the new nominee. OTB utilized U.S. Senate disclosures to obtain records from the vice president’s office, including 2021 and 2024 payrolls.”

Alex Wagner had on Minnesota Gov Time Walz, I knew of him but don't think I have ever heard him even speak before. He is a pretty impressive speaker, not much to look at but he delivers the message effectively. Main draw back in my eyes is he is 60 years old, which will mean he will be 68 at the end of two terms if that happens and here we go with another old guy then.

by Anonymousreply 166July 24, 2024 1:38 AM

Harris turns 60 in October, so she will be 68 at the end of two terms, too. What's the big deal ?

by Anonymousreply 167July 24, 2024 1:54 AM

Exactly R167 - she just aged better/looks younger.

by Anonymousreply 168July 24, 2024 1:58 AM

I’m rooting for either AZ Governor Mark Kelly or PA Governor Josh Shapiro for VP candidate. Strategically, they’re both great choices but Josh is quite the cutie.

by Anonymousreply 169July 24, 2024 1:59 AM

[quote] Harris turns 60 in October, so she will be 68 at the end of two terms, too. What's the big deal ?

because at the end of two terms Harris will be done running for political office, I want a VP that can step up and run for President. Not another candidate who is too old but still wants to run.

by Anonymousreply 170July 24, 2024 2:03 AM

R164 here -- I guess Rachel couldn't make it or else my guide was mistaken. Either way, the show just started and she wasn't announced as a guest, so perhaps she'll be on another night. Apologies for the confusion.

by Anonymousreply 171July 24, 2024 3:40 AM

r169, Josh also made a name for himself when he flew into action when the Interstate collapsed.

He is a man who defies the Regan excuse to fuck over the Middle Class:

I'm from the government, and I am here to help.

He has shown to be a results oriented Democrat.

A good choice and definitely NOT a Lieberman.

Lieberman was in the Senate, fucking up the Affordable Care Act.

Josh is a Governor in a Swing state that has delivered for Democrats before.

Josh could help move OHIO, with the Hillbilly dimwit dumbass couch-fucker on the ticket.

by Anonymousreply 172July 24, 2024 10:07 AM

Josh appeals to moderates too. He won by significant margins in PA when running against a pro-Trump MAGA candidate.

by Anonymousreply 173July 24, 2024 12:01 PM

Morning Joe has Elise Jordan conducting focus groups in Wisconsin. The Trump voters on the panel were morbidly obese lumps. The swing voters knew nothing about Kamala but some think she's untrustworthy because she didn't tell the world Joe's health was deteriorating.

The Trump voters thought Kamala was dumb and unqualified. She threatens every value they hold dear.

These were good segments illustrating what goes on in these peoples' heads.

by Anonymousreply 174July 24, 2024 1:07 PM

Elise needs to understand that Trump voters are also RACIST voters.

The only thing missing from her segment, which is being rerun on morning MSNBC, id the Benny Hill soundtrack.

Mostly a bunch of dumbass white people who are neither Urban, or suburban, but that lovely type of rural racist.

Elise needs to find non-racist rurals if she wants to find anyone movable.

The racists are baked.

Hey Elise, ask your sample if they want to give up Social Security, and Medicare first.

Then ask your dumbass questions.

by Anonymousreply 175July 24, 2024 3:54 PM

The SM formerly known as Twitter hates Elise Jordan more than Katy Tur. They think her questions were leading and her undecided panel too unrepresentative.

by Anonymousreply 176July 24, 2024 5:53 PM

Katy Turd "how convenient" that Kamala not there to listen to Netanyahu's speech. Turd is such a MAGA troll at this point, it was announced ahead of time Kamala wanted to meet with him in person, you know like a future president, to have a back and forth conversation not sit and listen to a speech. But I guess Ms. Turd forgot to mention that part on the air.

Katy Turd - Mother, Frau, MAGA Light yellow journalist 💩

Voting for Kamala Harris could support policies that affirm and protect the rights of transgender individuals, including toddlers who are exploring their gender identity. Harris has consistently advocated for LGBTQ+ rights and inclusion, emphasizing the need for comprehensive healthcare and supportive environments for transgender people. Her support for such policies aligns with efforts to provide resources, counseling, and protections for young children undergoing gender transition, ensuring their well-being and affirming their identities from an early age.

by Anonymousreply 181July 24, 2024 8:14 PM

R181, To be more succinct, you should say "Voting for Kamala Harris could support policies that affirm and protect the rights of every American." Be proud and cast your vote with dignity for VP Harris in November. I know I will.

Where be Ari Melber? Contract dispute? Illness in the family? Has he wed or had a baby? Jumped ship to the dark side? In short, I miss my 6 o’clock mister following hours and hours of MSNBC femmedom. In these historic times, I want to know if his rap bros still cling to the alarming notion that Trump is their “nigga President”when given the option of Queen Kamala. And I don’t see way into the evening Lawrence O’Donnell broaching that question.

by Anonymousreply 184July 24, 2024 10:27 PM

"Teeth and bras, ladies - you're on national TV! Teeth and bras !" I've told them a number of times - do they listen ?

by Anonymousreply 192July 25, 2024 12:27 AM

My god, I just adore Jen Psaki. She brings so much to that MSNBC table.

I think Ari is not getting the attention he thinks he deserves. I'm fine with his absences.

by Anonymousreply 193July 25, 2024 12:35 AM

If it's out there and you can find it - Maya Wiley tonight on Deadline spoke beautifully - and it was heart-wrenching - about race and the fight to break through - as a follow-up to Kamala Harris' talk at the AAPI event in Washington, D.C. about kicking the door down.

I can't do it justice. See if you can find it.

by Anonymousreply 194July 25, 2024 1:31 AM

R190: There is more than a hint of tension between Joy and Jen this week, so thick that you can scoop it in a spoon.

The rift began with a disagreement on Monday afternoon, the details of which I don't remember. However, I recall Joy forcefully disagreeing with something Jen had said, to which the host (Tur? Jansing?) promised to let Jen respond after the break, but the issue was dropped and Jen never given her say.

Nice/nasty, those two. Stay tuned.

by Anonymousreply 195July 25, 2024 1:44 AM

Yes, R194, Maya's soliloquy was brilliant, leaving Wallace and Heilemann speechless. Earlier, John Heilemann had sprouted some of his inane expertise on being Black in America and Maya had no choice but to take him to school. Eddie Gaude was also praiseworthy in his input.

(Heilemann actually said [among other pearls of racial stupidity] "... be you brown-skinned, black-skinned or whatever ... ."

Black-skinned? WTF?!)

by Anonymousreply 205July 25, 2024 12:06 PM

I think the Greenbay Republ.ican voters gave us a good look at MAGA--failures who do not read the news and desperately need the myth of white superiority to feel centered. For them to call Kamala unintelligent and unqualified is an article of faith. I'm sure they never set foot in Madison or Milwaukee.

I don't like Elise Jordan but she accomplished something quite sly.

Today she showcased Madison progressives. Normal BMI, not happy about Joe getting pushed out through a backroom deal but enthused about voting for her.

by Anonymousreply 230July 26, 2024 10:32 AM

by Anonymousreply 232July 26, 2024 12:08 PM

While Mika and Joe are taking time off (again) for another vacation, they should've chosen Michael Steele and Symone to anchor the show each morning. Jonathan Lemiere is doing a terrible job today, and with Geist covering the Olympics in Paris, it looks like he will be here for the duration of their vacation (which will probably end the day before the DNC).

Michael and Symone would be SO much better each morning.

by Anonymousreply 234July 26, 2024 12:12 PM

R232 No, not really. They made it clear that he was not their in his current Federal position - he was there as an individual citizen, so they couldn't reference his current position. There's a fine line (Hatch Act) they didn't want to dare come close to, never mind cross.

Pete is doing a lot of on-air campaigning this past week for the VEEP position. Can he be more obvious ?

by Anonymousreply 235July 26, 2024 12:12 PM

R235 - Pete made the same point when he was on Bill Maher's show recently re what he was able to discuss on the show.

by Anonymousreply 236July 26, 2024 12:17 PM

John Meecham comparing Mayor of South Bend and now you're in a big job, Meecham could have said current position instead of big job and Pete can't get in trouble for what other people say just what he says. Meecham is a word smith, he knew what he was saying.

by Anonymousreply 237July 26, 2024 12:21 PM

Why are they calling him MAYOR Pete? Shouldn't they be calling him Secretary Pete even if it's he is just speaking for himself? Or conversely, then just don't use either of those political titles. Just Pete.

by Anonymousreply 238July 26, 2024 12:34 PM

[quote]John Meechan questioning Pete Buttigieg on Morning Joe, what's the story, now that you have been Mayor, now you've been in a big job.... Is that called shade?

He also addressed him as “Mr Mayor”. I know others are saying that’s because he wasn’t speaking as a member of the Biden Administration, but it still didn’t come off well. It seemed to be an insult, as in “you’re always going to be thought of as a mayor, and that’s it.”

by Anonymousreply 239July 26, 2024 1:26 PM

After he voted against Hillary Clinton and got us Dump, how dare he comment on the election?

by Anonymousreply 253July 27, 2024 3:04 AM

R253 Why ? Because on the next episode of 'The View', Sunny Hostin will call them racists for not having him on. Who wants to defend themselves against her ? No one has the energy this summer.

[quote]Why is Eddie Glaude on all the shows now?

I know. He's getting more camera time than the potential VPs making all the rounds this week. Is he being considered as VP ? He's angling for something in the Harris administration, and he wants her to notice him.

by Anonymousreply 261July 27, 2024 1:22 PM

Eddie Glaude and his son infamously did not vote for Hillary Clinton.

Now he is on the soapbox about Kamala.

We are voting for her bro, the question is where you gonna vote for Biden if he stayed in?

by Anonymousreply 262July 27, 2024 1:25 PM

I don't think he's angling, but who knows. All MSNBC has to do - whether or not they will is up for question - is run Glaude's statements that "he could not vote for Hilary Clinton."

[quote]PRINCETON, N.J. - Dr. Eddie S. Glaude, Moss Point native and current Chair of the Department of African-American Studies at Princeton University, recently penned an opinion column for TIME discussing his unwillingness to support Hillary Clinton in the upcoming presidential election.

That's when I stopped listening to anything he said. He did apologize at some point. And he was great today on "The Weekend."

But he still bothers me.

by Anonymousreply 263July 27, 2024 1:35 PM

Eddie Glaude is the New James Baldwin.

He voices the historical political grievances against Black people.

He reframes the discussion, like Whoopi, through Black lenses.

And he was great today on "The Weekend."

Tish James is killing it on "The Weekend".

We need to listen to our Black brothers. We would not be here if had listened sooner.

by Anonymousreply 264July 27, 2024 1:40 PM

Letitia James has been making the rounds this week, including 'The Weekend' this morning. She's obviously auditioning for the AG position once Harris gets in.

by Anonymousreply 265July 27, 2024 1:45 PM

I didn't read his opinion piece, but what was his reason for not voting for Hillary in 2016 ?

by Anonymousreply 266July 27, 2024 1:46 PM

The Last four years for her were prosecuting Donald Trump.

The NEXT four years should be her prosecuting the Trump Administration.

Here's the famous Glaude opinion piece, now eight years old. You certainly can't call his prescient.

He's never apologized or admitted how wrong he was. " What I did wrong in 2016 is I overestimated white people. I didn't think white people would put Trump in office."

He's a fool who needs to fuck right off.

Jesus! Symone is so long winded. I love her but she needs more polish.

by Anonymousreply 270July 27, 2024 8:54 PM

Kamala must be glad Symone is no longer her “chief spokesperson.”

by Anonymousreply 271July 27, 2024 9:29 PM

R269 Thank You for posting that. I never read it before.

by Anonymousreply 272July 27, 2024 10:41 PM

Morning Joe does like to surround himself with losers. Mike Barnicle who, i think, was a plagiarist. Donnie Deutsch whose opinion is interesting to no one. Peggy Noonan. Doris Kearns Goodwin.

Plus Mike Barnicle & the Charles Stuart case….

Symone needs more than polish, R270.

She put on a spectacular display Saturday morning by actually braying like a mule, flashing her large mouthful of gums and teeth. It was positively disgusting.

If she's waiting for a call from Vice President Harris, she's wasting her time; Kamala Harris wouldn't touch messy Symone with a ten foot pole.

by Anonymousreply 276July 28, 2024 9:10 AM

I agree r276. It was pretty bad.

by Anonymousreply 277July 28, 2024 10:23 AM

Alicia’s reappearance changed the whole dynamic of The Weekend.

Should be The Symone & Steele Show.

by Anonymousreply 278July 28, 2024 7:47 PM

I wonder if Angela from 'Big Brother' would dare call Symone 'crazy eyes' ?

by Anonymousreply 279July 28, 2024 10:55 PM

Totally disagree r278. Alicia is a welcome balance to the loud and constantly interrupting tomfoolery we get from Symone Sanders and I say this as someone who likes Symone. She just does the most sometimes. Wait until SNL spoofs her. You know it’s coming.

by Anonymousreply 280July 28, 2024 10:58 PM

Michael Moore is an Antisemite!!!!

Ali, cut him the fuck off!

by Anonymousreply 281July 28, 2024 11:35 PM

Can someone please tell Symone those sharp pointing 2 inch claws are scary and need to go. So distracting all I think about is how does she wipe that ass without scratching the F out of herself.

I dont mind glamming it up, but those long nails are trashy girl.

by Anonymousreply 306July 31, 2024 12:37 AM

r306, she plans to cover it every night this week. Now she may have to skip it tonight because of Madam VP Kamala Harris’ phenomenal speech but if so, I’m sure she’ll pick it back up tomorrow.

by Anonymousreply 307July 31, 2024 12:42 AM

by Anonymousreply 322July 31, 2024 1:52 PM

I love Symone, but her Pro-Hamas bullshit is too much sometimes. She sat in for Stephanie last night, and she challenged General Barry McAfree that Israel had attacked a hospital in Beruit in order to take out an architect of the October 7 attack. No acknowledgment of the fresh deaths of 12 Israeli children from a Hezbollah rocket in the Golan Heights. Nothing, not a word. She’s not as extreme as Chrissy Hayes, Alex Wagner, or Joy Reid, and her positives soar way past the Hamas 3, but I’ve never seen her so cold…about children!

Here for the Symone & Steele Show!

Lose that dull Alicia, such a different vibe without her!

by Anonymousreply 405August 4, 2024 1:22 PM

Alicia needs to go back to her weekend American Voices show and cohost, Ramos.

Rashida, are you listening?

And put it on after Phang/Psaki.

by Anonymousreply 406August 4, 2024 1:47 PM

R401, looks like he’s been sitting in the lobby of that building all his life.

by Anonymousreply 407August 4, 2024 2:43 PM

I haven't seen much of The Weekend, but Alicia seems to be the type who is more suited to anchoring solo than trying to be chatty with co-hosts.

by Anonymousreply 408August 4, 2024 2:44 PM

Alicia is buttoned-up anchor type, she doesn’t even chat during the handoffs.

Symone & Steele can have a fun conversation while still clapping back at guests.

Drop Alicia, S & S are the perfect duo.

by Anonymousreply 409August 4, 2024 3:31 PM

I think Alicia is quite charming and very much like the dignified, smart Latina she is. Symone is sloppy. Michael has earned his sloppiness.

But if you don't think the rules are different for Alicia, on a Black run network, you need to ask why they haven't fired Wagner or Ayman.

by Anonymousreply 410August 4, 2024 3:37 PM

R402, why would a straight guy suck cock? Do you eat pussy?

by Anonymousreply 411August 4, 2024 3:37 PM

r411, because any sex with a straight man is, by definition, straight sex.

It is a claim that makes the statement true. A virtual sexual tautology.

He got fucked up his straight ass by another straight man.

Ari, has probably heard this many times, as Jews can be down low with the best of 'em.

by Anonymousreply 412August 4, 2024 3:42 PM

[quote] I think Alicia is quite charming and very much like the dignified, smart Latina she is. Symone is sloppy. Michael has earned his sloppiness.

I totally agree regarding Alicia but I don’t think Michael Steele is sloppy. I actually think Michael is pretty good. I like Symone but Symone needs to be a little polished. Her verbal, stumbling, long, ass, questions, and interruptions need to be worked on.

by Anonymousreply 413August 4, 2024 3:47 PM

R413 I think it's a nice contrast between the two. Steele is the professional, well-spoken anchor while Symone is very animated and goes for histrionics.

by Anonymousreply 414August 4, 2024 3:52 PM

OK, then he is GETTING sloppy.

by Anonymousreply 415August 4, 2024 3:55 PM

by Anonymousreply 417August 4, 2024 4:10 PM

by Anonymousreply 418August 4, 2024 4:11 PM

Symone and her sloppiness belongs in the 10pm or 11pm slot.

by Anonymousreply 419August 4, 2024 4:51 PM

I’m fairly sure Ari has done his show a few times while having a butt plug in place.

by Anonymousreply 420August 4, 2024 4:52 PM

I feel a bit ashamed that Symone's talons bother me so much. And like most women with those things, she uses her hands much more as she speaks (to show them off, I guess). That's all I see and I just have to turn her off, even though I'm a big fan of Michael's soothing style.

[quote]I’m fairly sure Ari has done his show a few times while having a butt plug in place.

I agree. AND a cockring.

by Anonymousreply 424August 4, 2024 5:29 PM

Do not like talons but I assume the ornamentation is supposed to make up for the shaved head. As long as the female reporters do not shove their cleavage in my face, I'm fine.

Did anyone see David Hogg today talking about reaching young voters who've lost faith? Poor dear is losing his hair.

Anyway, I wish Joe Scarborough was there to say "Are they nuts? Are they waiting for an engraved invitation to vote?" Hogg said they were demoralized about Dobbs. What a good reason to sit this election out.

by Anonymousreply 425August 4, 2024 5:31 PM

David Hogg is a washed up little dude.

People want logical progressive legislation, not left-wing fringe burn the house down shit.

by Anonymousreply 426August 4, 2024 5:55 PM

It's very refreshing to see Symone on TV - a black woman who doesn't feel the need to wear a dollar-store hairpiece on television. She's comfortable in her own skin, and her shaved head. Sunny Hostin needs to take note - and toss her collection of 1986 Whitney Houston wigs in the garbage can.

by Anonymousreply 427August 4, 2024 6:01 PM

I concur, R427. Symone’s low cut is likely because she prefers not having to fuss with long hair (as opposed to Ayanna Presley, who has alopecia). It looks good on her because she has the head shape to pull it off.

by Anonymousreply 428August 4, 2024 6:35 PM

Eugene Daniels is NOT easy on the eyes. That afro(?) and his all around fashion sense is ATROCIOUS!

by Anonymousreply 429August 4, 2024 7:37 PM

MSNBC has more than its fair share of "Glamour Don'ts."

WHET the "Motown Finishing/Charm School?" Man, does MSNBC need a similar program!

Rest in Peace, Miss Maxine Powell.

They are re-running the Sally Yates segment of Nic's show.

Love a woman who forced Trump to fire her instead of expecting her to roll over and resign.

by Anonymousreply 432August 4, 2024 8:38 PM

I noticed Kamala Harris and Eugene Daniels dress alike these days: Open color pastel blazer, silk collar-less blouse which drapes across in folds, and a pin or pendant. They each pull it off.

by Anonymousreply 433August 4, 2024 10:05 PM

But not well in Eugene's case.

John Heilemann is sexy.

by Anonymousreply 438August 5, 2024 1:39 AM

Look up BNWO, R411. Straight white guys sucking BBC is a whole (its own) thing. Way beyond curiosity. The regular rules don’t apply. Unless you’re a Frau, then just drop it, you’ll never understand.

by Anonymousreply 439August 5, 2024 2:02 AM

Sure, Jan.

by Anonymousreply 440August 5, 2024 4:23 AM

R438, John is single now.

by Anonymousreply 441August 5, 2024 4:24 AM

R441

Wonder why John and his wife broke up.

He is 58 and was married for over 15 years…

by Anonymousreply 442August 5, 2024 4:45 AM

R442 He fell in love with Ari. He was attracted to his wigga personality.

by Anonymousreply 443August 5, 2024 4:52 AM

by Anonymousreply 445August 5, 2024 10:33 AM

Yamiche! Slow the fuck down and stop gasping for air like you're having a panic attack!

Damn, are we stuck listening to you hyperventilate for the duration of the election?

by Anonymousreply 446August 5, 2024 4:09 PM

Bet John Heilemann is a dirty fuck.

by Anonymousreply 447August 5, 2024 5:16 PM

Speaking of hyperventilating , grandma Andrea Mitchell, while interviewing two reporters over in Gaza said “oooff, I have to catch my breath there…”

Leave Mitchell. Get the fuck out!

by Anonymousreply 450August 5, 2024 8:57 PM

Ari had a sweaty upper lip before the commercial break. They must have blotted him.

by Anonymousreply 451August 5, 2024 10:12 PM

I hate listening to Yamiche. She's ridiculous. God help us if MSNBC set her up with her own show to host.

by Anonymousreply 452August 5, 2024 10:59 PM

Poor Juanita Tolliver. She's been sitting with an industrial strength fan on her right side all day, and didn't have time to fix her hair before she went on The Reid Out.

by Anonymousreply 453August 5, 2024 11:17 PM

If Ari’s upper lip was sweaty, then can you imagine how moist his hairy in-betweens were?

by Anonymousreply 454August 5, 2024 11:38 PM

LOVE Yamiche. She is a warrior. A very compelling narrative. Lol @R453. Juanita needs to change out that weave. She’s been rockin’ that same weave a few weeks too long.

by Anonymousreply 455August 5, 2024 11:38 PM

That is not weave. Juanita has a lovely, thick wash & go style, a popular ‘do among black women who wear their natural hair.

R460 I remember that, I cheered her.

by Anonymousreply 466August 6, 2024 2:10 AM

That’s a weave. I’ve seen many other hair styles on her. She doesn’t change them very often. There’s no way her natural hair is that long.

by Anonymousreply 467August 6, 2024 2:38 AM

Errin Haines has an ever-changing cast of weaves and wigs. Glad she's found one she likes.

[quote]That’s a weave. I’ve seen many other hair styles on her. She doesn’t change them very often. There’s no way her natural hair is that long.

It’s not a weave. She occasionally wears long braided extensions, but when her hair is out and curly, it is a wash and go with her own hair. Let me guess, you’re a white guy?

by Anonymousreply 469August 6, 2024 3:47 AM

Let me guess, you are. Show me the roots. This weave never shows any roots. If it’s all her, show the roots.

by Anonymousreply 470August 6, 2024 5:01 AM

Wash and go ain’t that dry. Her “hair” is dry.

by Anonymousreply 471August 6, 2024 5:04 AM

Right, R477?

He's useless, and I am so happy Michael Steele handed him his ass.

I literally have never heard Kasich express one original thought or insight. So why do all the daytime shows have him on? He's a Never Trumper, so what; there's a ton of them. Why do we never see Richard Painter anymore?

Do not encourage that deranged woman's hysteria. Do the powers that be want us to take her (and MSNBC) seriously?

Seriously.

by Anonymousreply 514August 7, 2024 10:52 PM

SMH.

by Anonymousreply 515August 7, 2024 10:53 PM

I don’t like when Ari gives the liars airtime, and while he seems to know his viewers don’t always appreciate it, he still believes it’s important to get these monsters on the record.

Miller lost his cool (red face, higher and louder voice, etc) from the slightest push back from Ari though, and Ari wouldn’t let him go off on any weird tangents when the heat was on. Not a good look for Miller, but he still got some of his lies through.

Velshi is making a huge point about Palestinian/Gaza and comparing it to DREAMers.

What a nasty fuck he is when Harris says that If you want Donald Trump to win, keep going.

Harris is right, in a DEMOCRACY you fight for your side, get them reelected and THEN you negotiate.

Velshi makes me want to vomit when he suggests that losing voters upfront by capitulating to protestors is not a good thing to do. FUCK HIM.

I see Rashida has cut back all of the other assignments for Hamas Habibi Moyelexadin.

She needs to start cutting back Velshi, or send him back to Ukraine.

by Anonymousreply 547August 9, 2024 4:37 AM

Ali Velshi’s laughable attempt to tie Hamas to the Dreamers with the Queen of Self-hating Jews was disgusting. Lost major respect for him. Funny how the “Progressives” love to question everyone else’s values over the war in Gaza. THEY need to be held to account for supporting forced genital mutilation of the majority of women residing in the Palestinian Territories. They need to explain their silence over the ongoing executions of gay men (roof party anyone?) in the Palestinian Territories. They need to explain their silence over the threatened genocide of 200,000 Black Israelis when they claim to support BLM? Why the sexual assault of Israeli women is ok? Why the murder of 1200 innocent people is acceptable? No one questioned the US response to 9/11, but the Israelis are not allowed respond to the October 7th Massacre (that included 40 infants burned alive)? You have no credibility and definitely do NOT have the high moral ground here. Own your hypocrisy!

I respect your opinion and don't want to debate you. I think public library story hours should be themed so every child can attend. Every child needs to be encouraged to read.

In my city, many DSH events are held at private bookstores and other venues, which I think is great. If you disagree, that's fine. My city library only does DSH during Pride Month so it's never been a problem or subject of debated.

I'm very curious - if the publicly-funded library offered children (and/or adults) one hour of 'Bible Study', would anyone see this as problematic ?

I believe the problem lies when it's in a publicly-funded building, with publicly-funded employees.

by Anonymousreply 567August 10, 2024 2:34 AM

Kamala!

So, r567? What does funding have to do with story hour?

by Anonymousreply 569August 10, 2024 2:49 AM

R569 Looks like you don't understand the web of public funding, and I don't have the time nor interest to explain it you. Maybe someone else can.

by Anonymousreply 570August 10, 2024 2:57 AM

Bible study as a government-sponsored activity violates the Establishmet clause.

by Anonymousreply 571August 10, 2024 3:52 AM

They aren't reading the bible.

R572 Hence, the word IF in R567.

Thank you for playing.

Stephanie Ruhle says no more couch jokes.

NOPE, SORRY, I AM GOING to CONTINUE to make them until Trump is defeated. She tried to make an argument that Dems should not do that since it's no different than the lie of stop the steal. Basically "they go low we go high" light version. "we would be just like them, repeating things that are not true and we don't need to do that"

WRONG. First of all, the JD Vance thing is funny, it's humor, no one takes it seriously. Secondly, "stop the steal" was a thing that had serious consequences if true and it was litigated in court, that's a very different kind of lie. Third, it's time to get in the mud and wrestle the pig. Do we want to win, or just lose with the claim of moral victory?

We will continue to make couch jokes as long as they are fun. I support our future VP when he said he would debate JD Vance.... if he could get off the couch!.

by Anonymousreply 574August 10, 2024 6:05 AM

Agree. I think a big part of the Harris/Walz successful launch is that they aren’t doing that Obama “we go high” bullshit.

That might have worked with adults 20+ years ago, but you have an electorate now whose critical thinking skills have been destroyed by social media and The Real Housewives. The only thing that works these days is mudslinging.

JD Vance is a PROSTITUTION WHORE!!!

She’s a fucking idiot. That’s why they moved her to a time slot when nobody’s watching.

by Anonymousreply 577August 10, 2024 11:39 AM

I loved Joy’s methodical fact-checking of Dump’s helicopter story. She obliterated it lie by lie.

Alicia looks fetching this morning with Black Shrek off for the day.

by Anonymousreply 579August 10, 2024 12:25 PM

r579, thanks for the good news. We needed a break.

by Anonymousreply 580August 10, 2024 12:37 PM

R579, tell us you’re racist without telling us you’re racist.

Maybe she’ll cry about it.

by Anonymousreply 582August 10, 2024 2:24 PM

The couch jokes are just as relevant as when Gore got skewered for his "Lock Box".

WHERE IS SYMONE???

by Anonymousreply 584August 10, 2024 3:31 PM

Love Symone

by Anonymousreply 585August 10, 2024 3:39 PM

Symone is at the all-you-can-eat brunch buffet at Cracker Barrel. Then she heads to CVS to pick up her Wegovy to take her weight-loss shots, and her Pepto Bismal for the flood of diarrhea she's about to encounter.

by Anonymousreply 586August 10, 2024 3:50 PM

It would be fun if Tim Walz called JD Vance a prostitution whore at their debate, then flipped the table

by Anonymousreply 587August 10, 2024 3:54 PM

Symone is off while she's competing in the Olympics in Paris.

by Anonymousreply 588August 10, 2024 4:00 PM

Making fun of Vance and the couch is no different than people making fun of Dan Quayle for years over the potatoE incident.

by Anonymousreply 589August 10, 2024 4:13 PM

R579 - “ Alicia looks fetching this morning with Black Shrek off for the day.”

Yes, totally. Alicia looked gorgeous this morning.

by Anonymousreply 590August 10, 2024 7:07 PM

"The Weekend" presented a polished, class act today.

Wonder why?

by Anonymousreply 591August 10, 2024 7:11 PM

I sat in on a Dan Quayle press conference when he was veep, experienced his "deer in the headlights" expression and confirm he deserved every bit of ridicule he got. A true mediocrity that "merit" proponents failed to acknowledge was dangerously in over his head..

Where is Ayman?? This is, what, his third week off?

by Anonymousreply 597August 10, 2024 11:04 PM

You do realize people in America take vacations in the summer, correct ? And if they have enough money and vacation time saved, they take multiple weeks in the summer, correct ? So it makes sense Ayman has taken some time off and is on vacation with his wife and kids, before the election season goes into high gear after Labor Day. Same with other media personalities on MSNBC, CNN, etc.
