Anyone reading 'You Like It Darker' the new Stephen King book? What short stories of his are your favorite from past books?

This new book I had on hold at the library and I just started reading it and it's good. I think he does well with short stories, some of his favorites of mine were short stories.

Since he doesn’t write his own books, why would I read this?

Stephen King's books are all ghost-written by Richard Bachman

I really liked the recent Mr. Mercedes books, though some of his horror is getting repetitive as of late.

The Talisman was great, and The Stand. Please read the books before watching the movies though.

All of them? Even the shining? @R7

The only books written by Stephen King were Rage (1977), The Long Walk (1979), Roadwork (1981) and The Running Man (1982). These were written by King under a pseudonym.

All other books attributed to Stephen King were actually written by Richard Bachman.

The best SK movies are Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, and Stand by Me

by Anonymousreply 12July 17, 2024 7:57 AM

No, Thinner, The Regulators and Blaze were actually ghost written by Beryl Evans
