Could Alien Romulus actually be GOOD?

Disney is beginning a heavy ad spend and the previews look like the put a lot of money in the production.

The trailer gives away too much.

The film looks a little reductive but well-made. I’ll watch it for the hot guys.

Oh wow some theaters are getting a full size xenomorph.

This might actually be a good movie.

That looks amazing! I'm a big fan of the Alien franchise.

Thanks I didn't know about it before OP.

I think it looks great. The director has a lot of strong credits.

No Ridley Scott, who whiffed big on the last two installments, so maybe this one might be worth seeing.

They have enough faith to release it theatrically:

"Alien: Romulus was originally scheduled to be released on Hulu, but was switched to a theatrical release shortly before filming commenced. For its UK premiere, the film is set to screen at the Edinburgh International Film Festival on August 15, 2024. It is scheduled to be released by 20th Century Studios in the United States and United Kingdom the following day on August 16."
