Like Jerry Lewis and Mickey Rourke, the French adore Vivian Vance and as such paid tribute to the late comedienne by having the Opening Ceremonies occur on her date of birth. Expect multiple tributes to Lucy's second banana during the Paris Opening, including, a choral medley which will include, Lily of the Valley and Shortnin' Bread and a segment of the stadium will simultaneously lift up cardboard squares above their heads which collectively depict OP's photo of Viv from an aerial view.
