Pew: Under-30s now ID w/ GOP more than Dems, majority have no political affiliation

The Democrats have let baby boomers and older continue to the party instead of elevating younger people. This was inevitable. Hoarding of power creates a vacuum which is why people are so unhappy with the alternatives for Biden’s replacement.

But the Republicans have ALWAYS veered older.

Young people do not believe the Democrats have their best interests anymore. Nor should they, as the party refuses to adapt populist positions that align with mainstream democratic socialism. All Democrats offer is an anemic socialism which benefits a few.

Yes, why don't the Democrats adopt the positions of a demographic that doesn't bother to vote?

Gen Z and MAGAts have this crucial fact in common - both blame everybody else for any failures.

Dems are seen as the PC Woke nanny state party, and the whippersnappers aren't having it!

And, they are less likely to vote.
