"Slightly Scarlet": '50s high camp soap mixed with crime film noir

Rhonda Fleming & Arlene Dahl team up as sisters in 1956's color film noir, "Slightly Scarlet." Fleming is the good sister who lives up to the title; Dahl is the deranged sister just uncaged from the pen. When the sisters meet bad boy John Payne, heaven help this mister! The sister soap side of this film is a hoot; the crime noir is strictly by the numbers. My look at these "Scarlet" sisters:

There are many free copies of "Slightly Scarlet" on YouTube. This is the best one, I think. Enjoy every gaga moment!
