Question For Ophthalmologist

Or Eye Care Professionals. Four friends have had Cataract surgery and none experienced this. On first follow-up, Optha stuck two needles in my eye. At second follow-up, was told because of the needles my eye is swollen. Advised to continue drops and given lubricating drops. Before next visit would like to hear from others had needle experience and their result.

My elderly mom has been dealing with many eye problems, including cataracts that required surgery for both eyes. I accompanied her to all her medical appointments, and not once did her ophthalmologist ever mention or stick a needle into her eye. So I'm at a loss To why you're a student

Don’t stick a needle in my eye if you don’t want a gun up your wazoo
