Alright bitches, now that "MaXXXine" has officially hit theaters, this acclaimed (according to some) trilogy of horror films reached its conclusion. Which film do you think is best? I suspect "Pearl" will have resonated more with most DLers given the old Hollywood aesthetic and Goth's all-in performance as the unhinged/desperate/pathetic/strangely relatable title character. That being said, "MaXXXine" has the '80s video glam campiness and a killer soundtrack. Meanwhile, "X", the film that originated it all, really gives it all up to the southern-fried '70s horror of Tobe Hooper. Say what you will about this trilogy, but, in a weird way, there is a little something for everyone.
Which film of Ti West's "X" trilogy reigns supreme?

OP, have you thought about maybe starting a diary or blog rather than spamming DL with every thought you have?

I liked "Pearl" until that monologue that went on and on and on and you understood its point within a minute.
Any critic that praised that scene and claimed Mia Goth was Oscar-worthy deserves to be castrated without anesthesia.

Yes Pearl sucked but less so than the other two crap flicks tarted up as arty.
