by Anonymous | reply 600 | July 17, 2024 8:29 AM |
Because we are at Debate Day, I believe that there will be lots of action on the 58 thread.
59 established in advance.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | June 27, 2024 9:43 PM |
Still sick to my stomach and unable to watch MSNBC. What am I missing?
by Anonymous | reply 2 | June 28, 2024 4:35 PM |
Biden is senile.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | June 28, 2024 4:40 PM |
Katy, given your genes and your mental development, you will be, too.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | June 28, 2024 4:46 PM |
Who will be the worst anchor today?
by Anonymous | reply 5 | June 28, 2024 4:47 PM |

Which role is Katy Tur playing: Devil's Advocate or all-out Devil?
Fucking fascist bitch! What has donald promised her?
by Anonymous | reply 11 | June 28, 2024 8:22 PM |
She is publicly atoning for outing his lies about Cohen on AF1.
She is retroactively sucking his dick in public.
She has shown herself to be a Renfield.
Sorry Master...
by Anonymous | reply 12 | June 28, 2024 8:25 PM |
Katy Tur is more awful than originally thought she would be.
Honestly, hate to say it, think Nicolle is not going to be not much better.

Lawrence is on tonight and we know he aināt talking about who can replace Biden. Thatās Katy Tur shit beneath OāDonnell.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | June 28, 2024 9:55 PM |
Have you checked out the prices for the Brooklyn āevent?ā Yikes. Might as well go to the opera.
Afternoon session: (Jen Psaki, Steve Kornacki, Chris Hayes, Joy Reid, Alex Wagner, Andrea Mitchell, and Katy Tur) $128- 339
Evening session ( Rachel Maddow, Lawrence OāDonnell, Ari Melber, Stephanie Ruhle, Michael Steele, Alicia Menendez, Symone Sanders Townsend) $168-359
Dinner starts at $800
For some reason the event is not selling well.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | June 28, 2024 11:23 PM |
Ari is getting so tan today he makes Rachel Dolezal look white.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | June 28, 2024 11:41 PM |
r18, I was on the test email for MSNBC that polled hard core watchers (me:24/7. Fuck Dateline.)
The polled if there was interest in this kind of MSNBC Host event. I said OK, but absolutely fucking not if they charged outrageous ticket prices.
Obviously, I was a minority report.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | June 29, 2024 12:48 AM |
Ooh, I'd pay good money to spend time with Jen Psaki!
by Anonymous | reply 21 | June 29, 2024 12:57 AM |
Send that MSNBC ticket price instead to Democratic candidates in purple/red states.
What have you done for me lately, Rashida?
by Anonymous | reply 22 | June 29, 2024 1:35 AM |
Agreed, r22, if you don't count Ari's wigger outreach to BBC that raps.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | June 29, 2024 1:37 AM |
Ari is NOT into black woman as much as he fawns over black men, have you noticed?
by Anonymous | reply 24 | June 29, 2024 1:49 AM |
Alex Wagner is a Bernie Bro who hates Biden.
Castro hates Biden.
She should have taken her friend Chris Hayes lead.
Alex Wagner is a DISGRACE.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | June 29, 2024 2:09 AM |
Apparently the Pod Save America Obama guys hate they werenāt asked to be in the Biden Administration.
SHAME on them.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | June 29, 2024 2:17 AM |
I have found it interesting watching all the MSNBCers last night and today as they've each individually navigated how to deal with Biden's lousy performance and the question of whether or not he's a viable candidate. And how it's been a gradual process for some of them.
I expect Lawrence, who I haven't seen, will be all gung-ho for Joe (if he's on tonight).
by Anonymous | reply 27 | June 29, 2024 2:38 AM |
Apparently the Pod Save America Obama guys hate they werenāt asked to be in the Biden Administration.

Tim Miller used to be a Republican and still would if Trump dropped out. Don't kid yourself. He was communications director for Jeb Bush 2016 and we see how well he did with that campaign. Loser.

Please clap, R40.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | June 30, 2024 2:12 PM |
These Anti-Dump Republicans want to go back to their party.
Just give them one excuse and they are Anti-Democrat.
Same can be said for the Pod Save America Trust Fund Assholes.
Claire McCaskill and Nicolle Wallace seem to be close to this dramatic meltdown too.
Just give āem a reason and they are gone.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | June 30, 2024 2:20 PM |
I don't doubt that Tim would go right back to being a Republican - though I haven't read his book "Why We Did It", so an analysis would be unfair - but he does have a lot of interesting things to say about politics and the right and left.

by Anonymous | reply 47 | June 30, 2024 10:02 PM |
R43 = Tim pushing his book.
Hi Tim, how nice of you to advertise your book here with it's title included. Unfortunately I can not take advice from a butt hurt Repug strategist wearing pearls. Oh look at you, so trendy. Maybe you should be clutching those more.
One thing you said on AIR that I do agree with, you are "the turd in the punch bowl".
by Anonymous | reply 48 | June 30, 2024 10:13 PM |
Oh goodnessāTim is going to be on Aymanās show ranting and raving how Biden should be replaced.
Then Alex Wagner will be a dramatic drama queen this week. Hysterical when Gavin put her whiny ass in her place.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | June 30, 2024 10:42 PM |
Will Tim be wearing 2 or 3 stings of pearls on Ayman's show? The more he clutches them the more he seems to wear.

I turned on MSNBC to catch up on the latest news and Capehart's on. Yawn, I changed the channel.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | June 30, 2024 11:51 PM |
Capehart has a bunch of blacks on talking about Affirmative Action. Because that's what people want to hear about right now.
For some reason the event is not selling well.
It's only been announced for a week, and it's not happening until September. Give people a chance to enjoy their summer vacation and then they will buy the tickets when they return home at the end of August.
Capehart has a bunch of blacks on talking about Affirmative Action. Because that's what people want to hear about right now.
One of the MSNBC shows also covered this today - I believe its the anniversary (first or second - can't recall) of the Supreme's striking this down, so they wanted reaction of how things are going.

Chuck Rosenberg is fucking up the discussion and diminishing the solution to the problem. The Supreme Court was fucked up through Republican Corruption of THE SENATE. Get rid of corrupt Republican Senators and
1] DC becomes a state. Any future attack on the Capitol becomes more difficult. Trump may have owned the Federal Park that his Confederates congregated in, but the DC Governor would control the streets. Trumps Militias would not have been allowed to move on public streets from the park to the Capitol. They might have been stopped from entering the district in the first place. Either way, the National Guard could have surrounded the Capitol IN ADVANCE.
2] Trump has violated and shit on numerous American Traditions because they are NOT ENUMERATED in the Constitution. We need new Amendments.
a) Civil Rights supersede Religious expression.
b) Life begins at Birth. A citizen has no rights before viable birth.
c) A president has a right to run for two CONSECUTIVE Terms. A former president does not have the right to spend the term of their successor raising a militia for insurrection.
d) Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and the entire Administrative Procedures Act enact PERMANENT extensions of the Government and may be added to by statute.
e) The Right to Privacy, the right to equality of citizenship, the right to vote, shall not be abridged, and further unenumerated rights also shall not be abridged. Gerrymandering is illegal.
f) The emolument's clause will establish the IMMEDIATE investigation and removal of a president for corruption. A corrupt President may be impeached and removed by simple majorities in the House and Senate. The thought that an individual person is so important to the running of the Executive Branch that no substitution can be made is ridiculous. No public officer, agent, Congressman will be able to accept bribes or post factum gratuities.
g) Abortion is health care.
And on and on. We move the Senate and take the fights to the State Legislatures.

by Anonymous | reply 132 | July 2, 2024 7:26 PM |
r129, #1 is an act of Congress, DC statehood. It also adds 2 Democratic Senators.
2a-g are Amendments.
Once we hit a Democratic Super Majority in the Senate and pass the Amendments, we can set a 16-year term on reaching 2/3 of the state legislatures. We can also pass them into law Prior to Amendment approval. Getting rid of gerrymandering and universal Voter's Rights will flip a borderline red State. We will winnow the states where we need to put pressure on the electeds.
Just a political science class.

Steve has a huge fallowing now because he does such a great job with the stats on election nights. They are just priming the audience. I cannot stand all the MSNBC anchors bs saying people on the hill are telling them Uncle Joe needs to be replaced. They are just pissed he didn't rip the orange traitor a new one on that debate stage. Joe is a good man, a gentleman. Many people don't know any good men like him. As a lesbian in control of her life, guys like Joe are the only ones I give the time of day to. Fortunately I know many gentlemen gays and a few straight ones. I've met plenty douches like the Republican nominee and they know I know what they are and they usually leave me alone if not, I get them in the end. I win with the help of the gentlemen on my team. In that debate, it was obvious to me, Joe was there to actually debate. Those asswipes asking the questions were weak and pathetic. I don't understand why no one's talking about their shitty play acting as debate moderators. They sucked a herpes riddled dick during that debate and if I had my way, I would fire those cuntz and let them get jobs at newsmax. We are under the attack of disinformation. That 2025 plan to turn us into the Handmaid's Tale is funded by corporations that don't give a fuck about anything or anyone. They want to steal our money as consumers and our social security. Danielsā jailed former attorney Michael Avenatti, said āStormy Daniels is not now, nor has she ever been, a āvictimā of President Trump. Her new claims, made as part of her GoFundMe grift, are complete bulls***.
The media is going to get Trump elected and then it's all over. They're not stupid. Why are they doing this? The obvious media reasons are not enough. Just WHY?
I guess the media prefers a return to the days of a chaotic Trump administration, when there was a new offensive tweet to cover or some other outrageous behavior that no other president would ever lower themselves to. Even the worst presidents had a modicum of self-respect for themselves, the office and their legacies. Trump doesn't give a damn about any of that.
Or, for some reason, they see Trump's reelection as inevitable and by focusing nonstop on Biden's age and the "crisis" in the Democratic party rather than the MAGA Republican cult, it might curry favor with him once he's back in the Whitehouse. That way they can avoid being targeted as "far left, radical democrat," "liberal" or "RINO" outlets, all of which are in the crosshairs once his campaign of retribution begins.
by Anonymous | reply 262 | July 6, 2024 10:44 PM |

The Left? Joe Scarborough did the most of it. Most of his guests are still Republicans. That night of the debate they were on hyper drive about about how horrible Biden did and he must step down within the next 48 hours.
Then once they realized how off the mark they were, he high tailed it onto a "vacation". Totally back peddling the week later.

Of course Republicans are saying they're "thrilled " to run against Biden. They will campaign, as they have been, on Biden's age. Then what? We OTOH, have Dobbs, and we have Trump as a convicted felon, and we have Project 2025, and Gun Safety reforms, and Preserving Social Security and Medicare, and student loan forgiveness, and jobs, the economy, and... the fact that the Republicans tanked the immigration reform bill that could have been passed. On foreign policy, Trump will make a deal with Putin to stop the war in Ukraine. You know who will fight Trump on that? Our very powerful Defense industry who has been very happy lately with all the weapons systems contracts they're getting from the Biden administration so we can support Israel and Ukraine.
Only if you buy in to the opinion that the man who beat Trump once, cannot beat Trump TWICE. Wait ill after both conventions are over, then get back to me.
The man who beat Trump in 2020 was ahead in all the polls at this time and throughout the entire campaign. The man who's trying to beat Trump in 2024 is behind in nearly all the polls, including in all the swing states. And conventions don't bring the big bounce they once did. The only people who pay much attention to the conventions are the political junkies who've already made up their minds. You're delusional if you think the convention will produce a magical surge in support for Biden.
And I would vote for Biden as a brain in a jar because of Dobbs, the insurrection, Project 2025, the corrupt, purchased Supreme Court and Shelby County, Citizens United, Roe Reversal, Chevron Reversal, the Presidential immunity blanket, having lobbyists give elected officials post bribery GRATUITIES
It would be nice if we had a nominee who could forcefully and vigorously argue all of these points without getting lost in his thoughts or sounding like he's on death's door.

She was an excellent apologist for the Biden Campaign and a strong supporter of Joe. Jen knows how to get it done.
The NATO press conference last night was not a softball presser and Joe was ABSOLUTELY Presidential.
When does HE get the softball interviews from Fox? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
by Anonymous | reply 405 | July 12, 2024 11:46 AM |
Do none of these reporters remember the pressers with Trump? The ones like post UN and Charlottesville, the daily Covid briefing abominations? Where he had mikes taken from them, berated them, sneered and lied, personal attacks? Plus he never answered anything in substance, just his slogans and boasts. Yet, with few exceptions, they showed deference and restraint. And they seem to have "moved on" to cover that sociopath as a viable candidate.
They came into Biden's presser with a lack of respect and ill intent that he did not deserve. I am sure many were disappointed to find he was cogent and explained his positions re NATO and world politics masterfully.

Remember in journalism when 'un-named sources' were laughed at and deemed 'not credible'. Those were the people who were interviewed by the National Enquirer for stories such as Cher pregnant to Elvis' baby after he died.
Today, journalists boast about their 'un-named sources' who give them dirt on headline news, and everyone takes them seriously.

What I find most shocking of the whole GOP Convention is that there are minorities there, supporting this buffoon and his sidekick Vance. What are they thinking ? Please tell me they are just actors from an agency, hired to make the crowd look 'diverse'.

Stephanie Ruhl is the best dressed on MSNBC. Sometimes at a first glance you may say meh, but on second look she knows what she's doing. Or has excellent help in choosing what to wear.

CNN has been courting Joe & Mika to move their morning show to their network for years. NBC News better watch it with the Trump ass-kissing, or they will destroy their ratings. They already pissed off their top talent when they hired Rona McDaniel. Losing MJ would destroy their entire daytime lineup.

I would be nice to see Morning Joe replaced with a similar round table of progressives for a change instead of disgruntled Republicans. There are plenty of groups of Repgs, is there any major news network that has an all or mostly all progressive round table discussion??? Funny that there is not while at the same time it's still called the Liberal Media. The least you could do if you are being called that is give them something to chew on.

Watching Katy Tur's show this afternoon, I thought I had accidentally landed on Fox instead of MSNBC. She and Chuck Todd (along with Ashley Parker and Mark Leibovitch) were going on about how "strong" Trump looked in that "iconic" photo compared to "feeble" Joe Biden. They also accused Biden of being "defensive" in his interview last night with Lester Holt and still refuses to apologize about hiding the truth from his party and reporters about his health. Okay, perhaps, but last I checked, Donald Trump has also refused to apologize for trying to overthrow our government but you cunts only seem to be offended by Biden's behavior and not the wannabe Orange Fuhrer's, so they can all kindly fuck right off. It was just a really disgusting, one-sided conversation in my opinion and I promptly changed the channel.

I suspect that NBC News CEO Cesar Conde would like nothing better than to flush MSNBC down the toilet so we have to be selective in our boycotts. In my opinion, boycotting Katy Tur and Andrea Mitchelle is a must. I see Chris Jansing and Ana Navarro as not very bright and less offensive. No opinion on Joy, Ari, Chris Hayes and Alex because I haven't watched them for weeks.
Let's compare lists to identify MSNBC's top parent pleasers and suckups.

Her interview with Eric Trump was disgusting. She seemed like she wanted to suck his dick right there.
"Eric, can you promise me that your father won't outlaw abortion at the national level?" "He won't, Katy. He wants to focus on the important things like keeping the Mexicans out. You're just getting distracted by things like abortion." "Okay, thank you Eric for clearing that up. I believe you, I've known you a very long time, Eric."

[bold] Katy Tur officially has Stockholm syndrome [/bold]
When she was just a reporter, she was given the worst job they had at the time, to fallow Donald Trump on his first run for president. The mob almost turned on her at one point. Now that she's got that cushy anchor job, she attributes it in some kind of twisted way deep in her subconscious to Trump. Without him she would not be there, he was kind of a fluke and she got lucky. Now it seeps out in drips and drabs without realizing she sympathizes with her original captor.
boycotting Katy Tur and Andrea Mitchelle is a must. I see Chris Jansing and Ana Navarro as not very bright and less offensive.
Hosts like Nicolle Wallace, Rachel Maddow, and Lawrence O'Donnell are employed directly by MSNBC to give their opinion and analysis. Anchors like Katy Tur, Andrea Mitchell, and Chris Jansing are NBC News correspondents who also happen to anchor for an hour or two per day on MSNBC. They are required to be "objective" and give "both sides." You can't hold them to the same standards. You can complain and boycott them all you want, but even if they were let go, they would just be replaced by similar NBC correspondents. Daytime MSNBC has never been the same as prime-time MSNBC.
When you mention Ana Navarro, I think you actually mean Ana Cabrera.

by Anonymous | reply 587 | July 17, 2024 1:40 AM |
When Eric Trump didn't answer that question, she said out loud the answer she thought he should give, and then asked "this is what you're saying, right?" I mean, that's not journalism...she's just basically an apologist for the Trump family at this point.
by Anonymous | reply 588 | July 17, 2024 1:54 AM |
Michael Cohen outed Katy Tur in court, under oath, during the Trump trial as being a key person he used to plant positive stories about Trump in the media. I'm not sure how NBC can continue to employ her as a "reporter" when the level of bias she displays is so well-known to the public at this point.

I think MSNBC should encouage Michael Steele, Symone Sanders, Rachel Naddow, Lawrence O'Donnell and anyone else who wants one to take one day a month to participate in rallies. Their job would be discussing what the US would look like under a Trump Vance administration. I would suggest a paid personal day. but I can envision lawsuits over that.

I think when Von first started appearing in MSNBC is during the last election when he was staked out in Arizona where all the Trump freaks were about to riot outside the voting places after finding out they lost. Scrappy thin breakable gay guy in the Lyon's mouth. He did a good job so they have been slowly grooming him over time with appearances here and there on different in person news shows. But this week it's back to the snake pit.
