Now this looks fun

He looks great. (As does this!)

by Anonymousreply 2June 27, 2024 9:15 AM

So the villain goes after the villains.

by Anonymousreply 3June 27, 2024 9:16 AM

Now how about a quality horror vehicle like this for our beloved Liza?? Get your final draft open gays!!

by Anonymousreply 4June 27, 2024 9:30 AM

I don't think a gimmick is needed: Hugh Grant terrorizes two missionaries by just being his typical awful self along with nearly boring them to death with all of his sketchy exploits, baby mamas all while pretending to be Mr. Darcy. That sounds pretty horrible

And the trailer starts off with the best, swooniest Hollies song.

I’m in.

On the red carpet?

I love that Hollies song. I will ignore the plot hole that as soon as the one girl felt uneasy she and her friend could have promptly left.

I thought the trailer was about to play Creep by Radiohead.

Just watched the cam version and loved every second of it! Can't recall the last time I enjoyed a movie this much. A perfect little horror flick, with a more than relevant subject matter for our times.

Hugh Grant often phones it in, but not here, honey; all the facial expressions you can eat. The two actresses were wonderful as well.

Does Celine sing?

by Anonymousreply 11November 10, 2024 4:13 PM

Who the fuck is Celine?

by Anonymousreply 12November 10, 2024 4:18 PM

The credit song is "Knocking on Heavens Door" with the instrumentals of "Fade Into You" and sung by one of the leads, Sophie Thatcher. Very clever, considering one particular point raised in the film.

Looks good! Glad to see Hugh entering into and embracing his "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane" era.

by Anonymousreply 14November 10, 2024 4:42 PM

I think he makes no bones about the fact he's got about twenty kids and needs the cash.

by Anonymousreply 15November 10, 2024 6:21 PM

Okay never mind about the plot hole. The girls did try to leave, but the door was locked.
