"Kaz Hosaka guided Sage, a minature poodle, during the Best in Show competition at the 2024 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in May. She won." (Richard Sandomir, NYT; June 26, 2024)
Sage was Mr. Hosaka's second miniature poodle (the first being Spice) to capture the coveted title. Hosaka died of a traumatic brain injury as a result of a fall. He was 65.
