Does Anyone Out There In DL land know who MGM's Bright Light Susan Peters Was?

Faded from film history. Tragic unsolved ending to a tragic misfortune of a life. Read enclosed article......Christ, there's an encyclopedia of weird and tragic endings to actors who made a foot hold in Hollywood. So fucking weird

I do. She was married to a DL icon.

She has one of the saddest life stories I can think of as far as Hollywood goes. She was talented and had a lot of promise, especially after getting an Oscar nomination—then all of it taken away from a stupid hunting accident with her husband. The fact that she was intentionally starving herself at the end of her life to hasten her death is just fucking tragic.

What a gorgeous face.

Loved her in Keep Your Powder Dry with Lana Turner, a great and very dykey wartime dramedy. It was also the last movie she made before her accident.

Susan peters out.

She was great in Sign of the Ram

Sign of the Ram is a movie I'd like to see again. When I first saw it, I had no idea Peters was confined to a wheelchair IRL.

Peters was very appealing in Random Harvest. She held her own with Ronald Colman.

Dear God she was lovely! [dreamy sigh]
