It’s one of my favorite Irish comedies…even more so than Mrs. Brown’s Boys. It’s a shame Dermot Morgan died so young.
It's brilliant. My favorite sitcom.
Dermot died of a heart attack at 45 while hosting a dinner party, one day after recording the final episode of Father Ted.
And he already had a new show lined up, Re-united, a sitcom about two retired footballers sharing a flat in London.

Such a funny series. The Christmas special when they get stuck in the lingerie department is laugh out loud comedy. Really well done. And the old drunken father, sooo funny. I’ve seen every episode because there aren’t that many due to his tragic death.

Did they film the series on the Aran Islands in Galway Bay? Inishmore, perhaps?

The overhead shots of the Island used in the series are of Inisheer, the smallest of the Aran Islands
