I just recently discovered Harvey Brownstone.

I’m really impressed with the amount of preparation he does for these interviews.

He could have been another Dick Cavett.

If he prepares for the interviews, he couldn't have been Dick Cavett.

Cher was the first choice to play the part that went to Brenda but it didn't work out.

In interviews, Cher always says this was a regret along with not appearing on the X files. They ended up using a drag queen instead.

Love Brenda. She looks natural and healthy, proving it can be done. No visible work.

And she survived Faye Dunaway (professionally) and Michael Douglas (romantically). That's a real survivor.

Her Lauren Bacall fight story is interesting.

Her interview on the late Gilbert Gottfried's podcast was great — she was a down-to-earth broad who worked with and/or knew everyone in Hollywood over several decades. Gave the impression she was the kind of person who would happily talk your ear off if you approached and said hi.

That always seemed like a strange Oscar nomination since the movie was supposed to be so bad.

I haven't seen it since it came out, r40. I remember it as being a very Brenda Vaccaro role and her nomination wasn't surprising. Also, it wouldn't have been surprising had she not been nominated..

She’s been married for 38 years! Her husband is very handsome.

Unlike Michael, the husband doesn't do the cunny linguini - once was more than enough.

Sadly, she and hubby are separated. He's much younger and very handsome.

Yes, and Brenda's casting seemed like a perfect fit.

Brenda was thought to be the frontrunner for the Oscar. On the other hand, Once is Not Enough featured the spectacularly unerotic lesbian scenes between Melina Mercouri and Alexis Smith. See, Follies can be worked into any thread.

I found Once Is Not Enough on YouTube ages ago and it was a fun watch. Not the camp fest VOD is but Brenda was most certainly deserving of at least a nomination.

I remember when she and Michael Douglas were a couple. MD was younger and the press made a big deal about it. I believe it was while he was co-starring on STREETS OF SAN FRANCISCO.

I can’t get over how great she looks. She probably doesn’t have a great desire to work much anymore, but I hope she gets at least one more great role.

I love hearing these old broads talk about their lives. Hollywood of the past seemed SOOO much more interesting than it is now.

I liked Harvey Brownstone's interview of Morgan Fairchild. The best parts are all of her Bette Davis anecdotes. Who knew that they were friends.

She played Joey's mom on Friends. I wish she was in more episodes, but it was just this one.
