Finally, some gossip on Datalounge!

by Anonymousreply 1June 20, 2024 5:29 AM

Eddie Redmayne will win his second Oscar for playing Daniel.

by Anonymousreply 2June 20, 2024 5:31 AM

Eddie in Lincoln drag!

by Anonymousreply 3June 20, 2024 5:32 AM

Explains retirement. Sad. Coke once upon a time? Bruce, Wendy, now Daniel - is that our missing link?

by Anonymousreply 4June 20, 2024 5:33 AM

But does Redmayne have any right to play either Lincoln or Day Lewis, considering he can't really identify as them, R2?

by Anonymousreply 5June 20, 2024 5:34 AM

67. Jesus.

by Anonymousreply 6June 20, 2024 5:34 AM

That's fucking awful. That's what I'm thinking, r4. But I didn't think he was a big partier, was he?

by Anonymousreply 7June 20, 2024 5:35 AM

I'm sure it will be his wife's former assistant soon, if this is true.

by Anonymousreply 8June 20, 2024 5:35 AM

He looks completely out of it at OP. And she has the face of caretaker.

by Anonymousreply 9June 20, 2024 5:36 AM

Aphasia doesn't come from drug abuse.

by Anonymousreply 10June 20, 2024 5:37 AM

This is major "BREAKING NEWS" if true.

by Anonymousreply 11June 20, 2024 5:41 AM

BEARKING, TR11.

by Anonymousreply 12June 20, 2024 5:42 AM

R11...

by Anonymousreply 13June 20, 2024 5:42 AM

There is no excuse for wearing yellow pants.

by Anonymousreply 14June 20, 2024 5:46 AM

And what is going on with those zippers mid-thigh?

by Anonymousreply 15June 20, 2024 5:49 AM

That’s very sad if true. I know dementia doesn’t discriminate, but I always am surprised when it happens to people I thought were intelligent and remained active.

by Anonymousreply 16June 20, 2024 5:51 AM

I don't think this rumour is true, as I genuinely think assistant like keeping their jobs, if there really is one.

Nevertheless he looks like his kids took him to Moncler for a shop so he could be a "cool dad", but no one over the age of 15 should be wearing cargo pants unless they're for work.

by Anonymousreply 17June 20, 2024 5:52 AM

I call BULLSHIT! He does not have Aphasia but Daniel is clearly on the Spectrum. The yellow pants are a definite sign of Autism. Lincoln wore yellow pants. Lincoln was Autistic. Reason why Lewis was able to play the role so well. Like to like people ! DUH!

by Anonymousreply 18June 20, 2024 5:59 AM

Thank you for the scoop, OP. It's nice to see that DL still has some of that gossip that made it world-famous. The "Marcia Cross munches carpet so she married her investor" scoop was getting really, really old.

by Anonymousreply 19June 20, 2024 6:03 AM

Incidentally, I was not impressed by DDL's Lincoln performance.

Talk about a waste of a third Oscar.

by Anonymousreply 20June 20, 2024 6:21 AM

Who?

by Anonymousreply 21June 20, 2024 6:23 AM

He also has my milkshake...and he drinks it.

by Anonymousreply 22June 20, 2024 6:33 AM

I read this on DL two years ago.

by Anonymousreply 23June 20, 2024 6:34 AM

At the very least DDL has hair frenzy and clothing cognitive dissonance (CCD).

by Anonymousreply 24June 20, 2024 7:01 AM

He looks like Larry David in that pic.

by Anonymousreply 25June 20, 2024 9:41 AM

It's for a role !

by Anonymousreply 26June 20, 2024 9:54 AM

We just believe OP now?

by Anonymousreply 27June 20, 2024 9:57 AM

Let me tell you how stupid some of you are.

It took me ONE SECOND to see that the majority of this thread is the OP replying to himself.

And yet, some of you just accepted it.

What is wrong with you? Are you all autistic or something?

by Anonymousreply 28June 20, 2024 10:02 AM

I just ignore stupid behavior, but thanks for the legwork.

by Anonymousreply 29June 20, 2024 10:10 AM

Sounds like a real case of My Left Foot in mouth!

by Anonymousreply 30June 20, 2024 11:02 AM

Very sad, if true.

by Anonymousreply 31June 20, 2024 11:04 AM

R32, do keep up. It’s not.

R28, the OP has aphasia.

by Anonymousreply 32June 20, 2024 11:20 AM

See look how stupid r31 is. Couldn’t even bother to read a short thread.

by Anonymousreply 33June 20, 2024 11:22 AM

This is not true. But I wish Donald Trump had it so why wouldn't have to hear his demented bullshit every day.

by Anonymousreply 34June 20, 2024 12:00 PM

Aphasia is a symptom and not a disease. In the case of Willis it is due to dementia although I don’t know the type of dementia. Bulbar palsy (which is not dementia) can cause aphasia.

by Anonymousreply 35June 20, 2024 12:12 PM

I’m dumbfounded!

by Anonymousreply 36June 20, 2024 12:50 PM

He was quite articulate presenting Scorsese with an honorary award last January.

by Anonymousreply 37June 20, 2024 1:06 PM

[quote] He does not have Aphasia but Daniel is clearly on the Spectrum.

I know you posted this sarcastically but Daniel Day Lewis is very obviously on the Spectrum.

by Anonymousreply 38June 20, 2024 1:27 PM

An OP’s further participation in a thread doesn’t mean anything.

by Anonymousreply 39June 20, 2024 1:32 PM

This happens when you use too much cocaine during your youth. Dataloungers beware.

by Anonymousreply 40June 20, 2024 1:34 PM

The reason we don't get good gossip the way we used to is because everyone wants money. Instead of sharing gossip with DL they call TMZ or some other outlet to get paid.

As for DDL having Aphasia, I don't think this is true. I was reading about him a few years ago, and he c an be eccentric, and do stuff like work as a shoemaker for a while, or WTF ever, and he seems to enjoy a very simple private life, ergo no assistants. Now ifhe has some project cooking, he may have an assistant for the duration, but not permanently.

by Anonymousreply 41June 20, 2024 1:40 PM

That pic in OP post is old.

Yellow pants coz he's from Europe, they wear red pants, green pants, yellow pants, of all color. Euro trash!

by Anonymousreply 42June 20, 2024 1:41 PM

This has been reported here before. It's why he stopped working.

by Anonymousreply 43June 20, 2024 1:54 PM

Mum’s the word.

by Anonymousreply 44June 20, 2024 2:09 PM

[quote]This happens when you use too much cocaine during your youth. Dataloungers beware.

We are all so far removed from "youth," there's no point in warning us now.

by Anonymousreply 45June 20, 2024 2:39 PM

Is she the one that got beat up by Sharquisha?

by Anonymousreply 46June 20, 2024 2:59 PM

Talented actor.

by Anonymousreply 47June 20, 2024 3:03 PM

It's Starkeesha

by Anonymousreply 48June 20, 2024 3:15 PM

Sorry to hear about his diagnosis, but probably not as sorry as he is.

by Anonymousreply 49June 20, 2024 3:16 PM

Jeez. Far too young.

by Anonymousreply 50June 20, 2024 5:00 PM

My father had aphasia for several years after brain surgery, and that motherfucker kept all his marbles until he died twenty years later. Aphasia means you lose the ability to process language, and there are different types and levels. Dad couldn't speak or write at all, but he could understand the spoken and written word. He could spell out words with his fingertip, and his primary form of communication was tracing letters on his palm. He also had a pocket sized dot matrix printer with a keyboard that he used to tap out messages and print on little ticker tapes. He had a little laminated card to hand to clerks and waiters that explained his condition and to assure them he wasn't retarded.

His speech returned eight to ten years after his surgery. Some of my siblings insist to this day that he faked it for some or most of that time just to be a pain in the ass.
