Which Heather Locklear prime time soap was better?

Heather Locklear starred in “Dynasty” during the ‘80s. After Linda Evans and Joan Collins, she appeared in more episodes than any other actress on the show. She played Sammy Jo, who started out sweet and naive, but turned to narcissistic gold digger, to scheming villain where she is always trying to get money (even going so far as to kidnap her Aunt Krystle and replace her with a doppelgänger), to redeemed heroine.

On “Melrose Place” in the 90s, she played the tough, manipulative Amanda Woodward. I didn’t watch Melrose Place past Season 5, but I don’t recall Amanda being much of a scheming villain. When Allison became an unlikable drunk, you were just rooting for Amanda to take her down.
