I miss phone books

I still get a much smaller phone book annually, white and yellow pages combined.

Thank you for taking me down memory lane.

I miss this voice even more than the phonebooks or telephone directories.

They've gone the way of the telephone table.

Remember how you could use your pencil eraser to turn the directory pages, just before you used the pencil to dial the phone number?

Reminds me when someone said she is on LinkedIn and doesn't understand why she is not getting lots of job interviews.

You would check your name just to make sure that you were still in the book

I remember delivering the great big yellow pages in 1982. One of those jobs I had like inserting ad pages in newspapers.
