Apparently you can get a VPN and use it to mask your location and get around the injunction (which is enforced not by Texas but legally by each site). I looked at a few VPNs and most of them cost money, or had limits on the amount of data or the speed, and I gave up trying to figure out the best option.

So yeah. No chaturbate, no men.com, no xvideos or xhamster or pornhub... most every porn site is now blocked to people in Texas unless they go through the whole "age/id verification" thing, which... again, is site by site, so they each use different systems and ALL of them feel sketchy requiring me to upload photos of my drivers license and crap like that, which I really don't want to do.

r9 I live in a Texas-adjacent state and I use Proton VPN. It's free and it works great. Now even Sniffies is asking me to upload ID. It's hilarious that they think guys on an anonymous hookup app are going to do that. That's the one site where using a VPN doesn't make sense.

Some of the sites that ask for ID are covering their own asses and you can alter your personal data within reason. They just need to prove a certain measure of "we had procedures" due diligence, if they end up being a defendant in court.

R26, this is R3... I use Transmission on my Mac laptop since like 2010-2011 and no issues. Uploading something is trickier, as a new member i'd stick to downloading and then doing your part to help keep seeding what you've downloaded. Ask in their forums for guidance on uploading, I think it's changed in a few ways since I last did it. Everyone goes anonymous as uploader now, for obvious reasons, and I haven't uploaded in years.

It is a great site though! I can always find something hot and new to download when i get that itch.

R26, I use QBittorrent (with a good VPN) to download. QB also has a tool for making torrents to upload to a site like Gay-Torrents. For private sites like GT, you need to use their private tracker. GT has a whole page on how to upload to their website, and they provide you with their private tracker. So, all you need to do is use the QB tool to create the torrent and then upload it to GT on their upload page.
