The top 10 songs 45 years ago June 9, 1979

1. Bee Gees - Love You Inside Out

3. Sister Sledge - We Are Family

4. Peaches & Herb - Reunited

Donna Summer would return to number one next week for an additional 2 weeks. This was The Bee Gees six consecutive number 1 and their final one. Peaches and Herb were on the way down after 4 weeks at number one and Anita Ward would knock Summet off the top spot in a few weeks. Summer would knock Ward off the top spot in a few weeks with Bad Girls.

Which ones did you like/hate?

I don't know no. 5 by Randy Van Warner. The rest I would consider classics.

Ugh. Terrible disco and yacht/dad rock.

"Bad Girls" became Summer's second consecutive double-lp to hit #1. By the end of the year, her next double-lp "Greatest Hits - On the Radio - Vols 1 &2 " would be her third consecutive double album to hit the top spot. No other artist in history has tied or beaten her achievement.

It’s so crazy because the Top 10 on Billboard today will be forgotten by next month. It’s crazy all those songs were in the Top 10 together.

Love Rickie Lee Jones. Love Just When I Needed You Most.

No songs on that list that I absolutely hate, but those are my top 2.
