Film stars after the golden era were rarely model like. Cookie cutter models are usually too bland. There's only one Brad Pitt, one Charlize...Barry K is undeniably interesting as an actor...and this DESPITE his looks.

God, I hope they don’t do those awful, fake, overdone Liverpudlian accents like every other Beatle “impersonator” does.

I mostly agree but it IS The Beatles and if any band deserves four movies, it’s they. I imagine the idea is to view their chaotic lives and times in the middle of the Beatlemania chaos from the viewpoint of each band member - that is a very intriguing idea.

Sam Mendes is a HACK. On the bright side, he’s not Joe Wright or Tom Hooper.

But these movies are writerless so far. It’s a concept at best.
