Laura Dern! Where in the hell are they going to go after that ending?
In the new season, the central plot will involve a team of cryologists from Stanford who will try to unfreeze all the facial work done over the years to Celeste Wright (Nicole Kidman).

I didn't finish the second season. The tension and angst felt really forced because Alexander Skarsgård deserved to die and Meryl Streep would never find out they pushed him unless someone told her.
I think the success of the first season shocked everyone involved so they slapped a second season together.

Should have kept it one and done.
Season 2 did little but give opportunity for Laura Dern and Meryl Streep to chew scenery and for Zoe Kravitz to show off her lack of acting talent.

r4, I agree. The thing is, neither season was really that good. I just think people liked the idea of big movie stars playing rich women who lived in houses that were gorgeous on the outside but recognizably messy (because they had children) on the inside.

Yeah the lifestyle porn was definitely a big part of it, r6. I don't like any of David E Kelly's stuff.

All that plastic so close to the ocean can’t be good for the wildlife.

I found Alexander’s character truly frightening. He does menacing-turn on the charm very well.

Season 1 was decent, but not great. Season 1 should have followed the book ending a bit more.

Screw this show. David E. Kelley need to bring back Goliath with Billy Bob Thornton and Nina Arianda.
