How hard is it to identify which cruise these passengers were from? You should be able to check which cruise ships docked this morning in Vancouver. In fact, Copilot says it was either
Radiance of the Seas (Royal Caribbean)
Odyssey (Seabourn)
Queen Elizabeth (Cunard) 12
Of those, I suspect it's the Radiance of the Seas, and I suspect Norovirus.

In fact, Radiance of the Seas had a Norovirus outbreak in April.

Salt Lake! Salt Lake! This is Nancy the senior stewardess. All the flight crew is either sick or gravely injured. Help us!

They hadn't felt this bad since they watched that Ronald Reagan movie.

Because it’s the cheapest?

After the announcement, the pilots popped open one of cockpit windows and made their escape.

Why would they all get ill AFTER the cruise, and so quickly?

Zombie outbreak. This is how it starts.

R14
Have breakfast, check out, go to airport, get on plane .
CDC has had a unit dedicated to cruise ships and the sickness that comes with that for decades.

Sorry R16 was for R13

Was a it gay cruise? That messy bottom couldn’t clean after herself and left mess everywhere!
by Anonymous | reply 19 | June 8, 2024 11:40 AM |
R16 why wouldn't most of them have come down sick DURING the cruise? That is a lot of people to get sick at the same moment, on a plane, after the cruise.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | June 8, 2024 11:46 AM |
We should nuked the plane from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

What would be interesting to know if those on the plane were the only cruise passengers to get sick that day.

They probably all ate poisoned lobster at the final meal.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | June 8, 2024 12:11 PM |
I told them not to eat the shellfish

I was on the Queen Victoria when there was a breakout of norovirus earlier this year. It started a few days after passengers got on in Fort Lauderdale and ended after they got off in San Francisco.
