Sal Mineo and young Don Johnson in gay play in LA, 1969

FORTUNE AND MEN'S EYES, written and performed about the same time that Boys In The Band premiered. Directed by and starring Sal Mineo. Of course, there is a bitchy character named Queenie.

However, this one was the first play to have a fully nude, male-on-male rape scene onstage (Mineo raping Johnson).

Unfortunately, the clip here stops just before the famous 'shower' scene. At least we get a good look of Johnson in his tighty whities.
