The last one was complete shit.

It made money, though

by Anonymousreply 1May 28, 2024 12:07 AM

This one won’t. It’s on Netflix.

by Anonymousreply 2May 28, 2024 12:24 AM

I wish he'd focus all his energy on the new season of Poker Face. That show is funnier and more creative than his Poirot knock off movies.

by Anonymousreply 3May 28, 2024 12:30 AM

Poker Fashe.

by Anonymousreply 4May 28, 2024 12:45 AM

Apparently she's doing a Freaky Friday sequel with our beloved saint, JLC.

Somehow it’s become cool to retcon Glass Onion as a bad movie. A few loud Twitter trolls not liking it or not understanding some of the characters doesn’t mean it failed. This is a common theme on Twitter - nothing is ever good enough.

[quote]The last one was complete shit.

Please. It was an even bigger hit with the critics than the first one was. It was a hit.

by Anonymousreply 7May 28, 2024 2:00 AM

Hit≠good movie

by Anonymousreply 8May 28, 2024 2:02 AM

I enjoyed the second one so much, I watched it three times. Couldn't finish the first one, even though I started it four separate times.

This casting gives me pause, however. Who the fuck is Cailee Spaeny? I'm sure O'Connor is playing a gay character of sorts.

by Anonymousreply 9May 28, 2024 4:05 AM

Will there ever be a second season of Poker Face??

by Anonymousreply 10May 28, 2024 4:17 AM

Two gays? He must have been inspired by White Lotus Sicily

I refuse to watch it because Tom Hardy was once honest about being bi but when he became more famous, he denied it and I also saw a picture of him naked on some set and his worm was tiny and the pubes looked like he pissed himself.

by Anonymousreply 12May 28, 2024 7:42 PM

Tom Hardy never denied it, he got pissed he was asked the question at a press conference

by Anonymousreply 13May 28, 2024 9:10 PM

Man that's a horrid pic of Josh O'Connor. He looks like death warmed over.

I like this movie series and look forward to another.

by Anonymousreply 14May 28, 2024 9:24 PM

Does Josh O'Connor owe back taxes or have a drug habit to support? I get that an actor's gotta do what he's gotta do, but he's really selling out!

R12 You sound like a special needs teenager.

I just loved the conceit that since the Louvre was closed due to the Covid quarantine that a billionaire convinced the museum to let him rent the Mona Lisa for the duration.

by Anonymousreply 17May 28, 2024 11:36 PM

These movies are fun fluffy entertainment, but Lindsey Lohan? Ugh. Why must we see her smushed bulldog rebuilt coke face anymore. Why can’t she just go yacht girl for the rest of her life and stop acting forever. It’s not like anyone was dying to see her make a glorious comeback.

by Anonymousreply 18May 29, 2024 12:36 AM

WHET "The Glass Onion? I can't find it to stream.

by Anonymousreply 19May 29, 2024 12:39 AM

R19 Netflix

by Anonymousreply 20May 29, 2024 1:09 AM

No thanks. Rian Johnson is a terrible writer.

by Anonymousreply 21May 29, 2024 3:44 PM

I'm rooting for a Lohan renaissance.

This is a step in the right direction for her.

by Anonymousreply 22May 29, 2024 4:18 PM

Not really a fan of these films or the mediocre white guy Rian Johnson. He’s very lucky to be making so much bank. He’s not a particularly clever person.

by Anonymousreply 23May 29, 2024 8:41 PM

Knives Out 3 suddenly became a DataLounge must-see: Glenn Close has joined the cast.

Oh, I’m so pleased for her.

She’ll play the corpse, I imagine?

by Anonymousreply 25May 29, 2024 9:01 PM

They also cast Andrew Scott
