She's well put together, but she pretty much looks her age...which is fine.

I think she looked her best when she was in her 50s on 'Dynasty'. Better than she did in her 30s and 40s.

I've recently been watching all of Joan's 1970s horror movies, like Tales from the Crypt, Fear in the Night and Dark Places. They're so entertaining and campy. I miss old British horror movies like that with Joan, Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee.

I think she wears a wig. That being said, she looks early 70's.

She looks very well put together for 91 but not 40 years younger. I have seen some no makeup photos where she looks pretty haggard but so do some much younger actors.

She looks like a 91 year old woman who has taken reasonable care of herself for decades and had professionals apply a bucket of spackle and €400 worth of makeup, hair dye, and other "product."

Joan probably showed up with a U-Haul on her last day of filming Dynasty and had her entire Nolan Miller wardrobe loaded onto the truck. Everything she wears looks like it was first worn in 1983 by Alexis.

Joan makes me think of my late mom.

Mom was always flawlessly put together… the hair, the face, the clothes… no detail overlooked.

But when Mom got into her early 80s, she started looking a bit off. Makeup too heavily applied, that sort of thing.

I’m sure part of it had to do with increasingly impaired vision. She couldn’t accurately tell how she looked.

I suspect Mom was also laboring under the assumption that if a bit of rouge or eyeliner was good, a lot of it was great. She’d lost the sense of subtlety.

I felt bad because she started looking clownish, undignified. And she’d always had a rep for her style and elegance. I tried to gently suggest toning it down a tad. But her reaction was What do you know about makeup? So I kept my mouth shut henceforth. Her face. Her life.

She looks younger in photos only. Trust me in real life, close up, it's just another old Hollywood hag horror story. She doesn't use brushes to apply her makeup. She uses a jointing compound trowel.

She wears strategic clothing and wigs and her makeup is applied with a spatula.

She looks better than Carole Bayer Sager these days - and she's older than her.

This photo is from a movie she did back in the mid 80s, but it's essentially what she looks like when she's not glamorized. I can guarantee you when she removes all her makeup and her wig these days it would scare little children.

She doesn’t look specifically 91 , maybe 85 or 81, i agree her posture is good. Her legs and hands give her aways, gloves are ridiculous but she could have worn some more opaque pantyhose.

R33, my mother is the same thing. She is 76 and she is very well put together, doesn’t leave the house without make up, etc but for the last two years her make up is off. Partly is from vision, she cant wear her glasses while doing her make up, my sister investigated some special glasses for make up. Buy ones for yours.

With my mother it wasn't so much the makeup but the flamboyant colors she wore. Then she had her cataracts done and took a good look at her wardrobe and was furious.

It's sad that these former stars thing they need to look glamorous. Hey, lady, you're 90. You'd look better with less makeup and less black hair dye. Though I've seen worse.

I doubt that any of us will be living such a fantastic life if we live to be 91.

She looks 80 but at her age the fact that she's so mobile is her fortune. Most people are either dead, in a wheelchair or barely shuffling from the chair to the toilet at 92.

That said I wish we had Jackie for 92 years. Always thought she was much more interesting than Joan as a person.
