She was in the wrong because she had already walked the red carpet, after which she would ascend the stairs with the rest of the attendees to take her seat in the theater. What she did was stop on the stairs and start posing again for the photogs. That's comparable to a traffic jam at rush hour. The security personnel had every right to usher her along as the actual stars of the film had to make their way into the theater. It's not always about race, sometimes it's just about an egotistical never-been with an attitude and incredibly poor manners.
