That article says Macy’s deserted Union Square which isn’t even true. Yes, they’re leaving but it could be years IF they actually do. I’ve always enjoyed Shreve’s Christmas windows but, honestly, who the fuck is buying high end jewelry anymore besides Persian housewives and rappers?

There's more concentration of "new money" wealth down in the South Bay anyways, and for a myriad of reasons, Union Square is done as a hub of luxury shopping...nobody is venturing into downtown SF for those kinds of experiences anymore.
