Should I buy one? or are they too trendy?
Are you a painter?

I am a lonely painter, I live in a box of paint.

OP, are you wearing Edwardian garb beneath the coat? - tight fitting tweed pants barely containing a stiffening girthsome rod of molten gold and seriously low hangers?
Yes, yes you may buy and wear that shacket, Good Sir!

The jacket looks nice in in the way they've styled it with black pants and black t-shirt. It's a good price on sale - I say buy it if you like it OP!

All 4 pockets are a little too high.

It does look really well made. I especially like it in brown. I say go for it, OP.

Yes, you should, but don’t let them overcharge you. We don’t yet know how long the jacket’s moment will be.

I like the architect’s jacket better.

Does it go with painter pants?

Damn. I remember painters pants from the 1980s. They left off the little hook for a brush on your over-pocketed mess of a jacket. We always wore smocks to paint in the 1960s-80s. A beret would go great with your jacket. I knew a fool who bought and wore a raspberry colored one in the summer of ‘85. You could probably easily find one in a second hand store. He did.

Honey, I thought we talked about the beret. Patty Hearst couldn't even pull it off, and she had money and a gun.
