Why was Joost Klein disqualified from the Eurovision Song Festival?

He was the favorite to win, but was disqualified just hours before the finale.

I love his Europapa video.

That sucks!

Because Eden Golan gave him chlamydia.

Dust-up with a camera operator.

From a Swedish site:"Against the clearly made agreement, Joost was filmed when he had just gotten off stage and had to rush to the green room. At that moment, Joost repeatedly indicated that he did not want to be filmed. This wasn’t respected,” the statement read, continuing the broadcaster “finds the disqualification disproportionate and is shocked by the decision.”

Official release.

It looks like people in the comments section of the Europapa video are 100% supportive of him:

[quote] Waited 4 months, cheering for this man, and you're telling me you disqualified him LAST minute because all he wanted was some privacy? SERIOUSLY?

Sweden won. Croatia runner-up.

I think it was a good decision because during the chorus he sang "EURO...." which was off-key.
