"We worked closely with the HR, Legal, and DEIB+ teams to ensure objectivity and equity in the decision-making process. The final selections have had no measurably disproportionate impact on women and under-represented genders or the under-represented minority population in the US."... wtf?🥴🥴
No WTF. It came out during the big tech layoffs in 2022 and 2023 that women and minorities were disproportionately affected, largely because software engineers are overwhelmingly male and white or Asian.

Indeed USED to be a powerful tool when I was last in the job market (mid 2010s), but it's now garbage -- clogged with way too many expired job listings and spam listings. And, it's search functionality has 1/10th the power it did back then. By contrast, LinkedIn is much better for job searches now -- especially if you pay for the premium account.
