Haven't heard from Miss Popcorn in years. I like her relaxing townhouse.
Tasteful Friends: Faith Popcorn lives! (And her townhouse is kinda swell.)

I hate to say it because I’m writhing with envy, but the truth is the truth. That is one fine dwelling.

Agreed, OP and R1, against expectation but it's a handsome, comfortable house, practical for its purpose, and with some nice touches: the Bernard Palissy ceramics, and the frankly functional industrial style desk and drinks trolley and other pieces that make for a nice mix with the luxurious velvet everywhere. High marks for the house, and for designing a space that works both as office, a space for business meetings/entertainments, and a residence.
Most living spaces that set out to serve multiple other purposes fall well short of success. This one is a good working solution and a house comfortable enough to feel immediately at ease in and interesting enough that youn want to see more.
Miss Popcorn, however, looks as though she took literally too many 'beauty secrets' from Sharon Osbourne. I always thought she trumpted the small and obvious into something a cloying and obvious and heavy-handed, so itś interesting that I don't hate the house.
