This is why the female violence statistics are skewed. How can you measure male vs female crime when women get off?

r5 She tried to kill him because she couldnt get off.

3 years probation for attempted murder. Great job, Arizona! Really got your priorities straight.

I wonder how ugly and unpleasant the husband is that the jury felt like she didn't deserve any prison time for trying to kill him.
I'm surprised that how ugly so many of these mail order brides are too. I assume she was one but like if you're going to bother why not at least get a pretty one. Or is it like a bait and switch thing and I mean what are you going to do about it.

“ Pima County Superior Court Judge Javier Chon-Lopez sentenced her to three years of probation in addition to mental health treatment, citing a statement from her now-estranged husband that he did not want her to go to prison, per CNN.”

"Grounds for divorce!"
Seriously, what does it matter what the fuck the husband "wanted" or didn't want in terms of sentencing this woman? She tried to kill him! Why does HE get a say in what happens to a person who committed a crime? Isn't that what laws, due process, having a jury is supposed to be for? Just because somebody who is involved in the case "doesn't want her to go to prison" doesn't mean that's what happens. WTF, Arizona?
There must be other elements to this we're not hearing about. Right?
