AstraZeneca COVID vaccine mass withdrawal from the market

Its vaccine was estimated to have saved millions of lives during the pandemic (even though it didn't stop transmission), but also caused rare, and sometimes fatal, blood clots.

It makes total sense to withdraw it.

All vaccines have side effects and it's incredibly sad that some people had adverse reactions but millions had their lives transformed by it.

It was also incredibly sad that nations entered into a vaccine war and some (Hi France!) decided to smear AZ to distract from the EU's dreadful procurement.

Just more fuel for anti-vaxxers. They'll be the death of us all when the next pandemic hits.
