No, not a DJT post, but in the same vicinity. Not only is this W. VA governor/soon-to-sadly-be senator a crook, but he has the exact same criminal family MO! What's wrong with these people! I worked in West Virginia as a TV reporter and anchor. For some reason, Justice took a shine to me and drove himself (with a state trooper for protection) to tiny Bluefield from his office in Charleston for numerous interviews.
I am not naive. He pretty much refused to talk to the capital press, but sat down with me for frequent interviews. I always figured he chose me because I didn't ask him the hard questions, such as why he often refused to pay taxes. In fact, that line of questioning was always discouraged by him for obvious reasons. My very conservative general manager was always in the booth during these sessions and I guessed it was to make sure I didn't embarrass the governor or the TV station.
He is one of the most colorful politicians I ever dealt with.
