I saw someone on Reddit compare Jennifer Coolidge to cilantro, saying she’s a strong spice that works well in some places but has started to crop up where she doesn’t reasonably belong simply because her popularity is beginning to overshadow her substance, not unlike cilantro a few decades ago.
She did White Lotus, then The Watcher, and now she’s set to join Only Murders in the Building - no doubt playing another dingbat millionaire with a lovable edge.

She's basically always the same character, but it works for her in the roles she plays. I like her. To me, she was the best thing in Legally Blonde, after peak Luke Wilson.

I enjoy her, especially in the Christopher Guest movies.
It just occurred to me that Guest's wife, the humble actor Jamie Lee Curtis, does not appear in his films. They don't really seem to like one another.
