What are some of your favourite YouTube channels? Lately I love watching this couples road trip videos. They’re non political unlike some and I actually learn a lot.
I like this guy who lives in Alaska films himself traveling around the state.

I don’t watch any channels. Not my thing. My husband likes Wonderhussy. I think it’s because he grew up in the desert. She talks excessively but is entertaining.

Wonderhussy for road trips and abandoned stuff
Cults To Consciousness for interviews with ex fundies and cult members
Lots of other stuff, but those are the channels I find the most interesting.

Anna's Mobile Home Life. Been following her since December. She had sold the mobile home and moved to Florida , but then boom she was back in Jersey? Unclear what happened ? She spent some time in the hospital after returning to Jersey. Her vids typically center on overly processed food she orders and recipes using that food . Inevitable at some point in all her videos she states she not sleep well the night before and does not feel well .

"The Evil Dusty Show" is what he calls his channel now as a slight against his ongoing problems with YT.
This is a Mississippi atheist who is pro LGBT & adopts stray cats with his girlfriend. He used to be in the porn industry.
He's had lots of censorship issues with YT & he struggles to stay on there.
I don't see what the big deal about his show is plus he is funny with repubs & the religious in various segments.
I recall him getting death threats for being a Miss. atheist so any support you can give him would be great (& he is smart & funny).

Unlimited Lives
This funny & witty Brit reviews Star Trek shows from start to finish.
He just completed the entire run of Star trek Voyager & he pleased his fans by doing Deep Space Nine which debuted a couple years prior to STV).
He gives the characters funny nicknames like Nog becomes Egg Nog & the Cardassians become The Cardigans.
His insight is impressive & he usually catches 1 or 2 things that I've missed when I saw the episode the first time.
Here is his review of the DS9 2 part debut done about a week ago =

Lately I've been watching young Middle Easterners, male and female, talking about fragrances. I'm often stunned by their mastery of English by the way. There are one of two very cute guys and they reveal so little of themselves so it's pervy fun to try to figure them out.
I also like discovering channels by African women. Usually, after I figure out each one's personality and YouTube shtick, I move on. It's voyeuristic of me.

I like Jami Ray Vintage. They are a couple in Utah who take you thrifting with them to about a half dozen stores in their area (they also go to estate sales, etc.). Then they resell as-is, or rehab things with paint and repairs. They have a brick 'n mortar store catering to fraus, but also sell online. They also have a line of rehab products like stencils and paint.
Jami is a chatterbox but Ray is more reserved. They overshare and bicker good-naturedly.
The stores in their area seem to have a lot more good stuff than where I live. Those Mormons must be rich.

One of my current favorites is [italic]J. Coletti's Racket Reviews.[/italic]
For several reasons I've always been fascinated with organized crime, and dicovered it 2-3 weeks ago while searching for more info on Santo Trafficante's takeover of organized crime in Tampa.
Coletti brings fresh new energy to a subject that most experts/documentaries lack, plus Coletti puts a spotlight on quite a few mobsters I'd never even heard of before, like Charlie Wall, king of Tampa's underworld for decades, who unlike most mobsters came from a very prominent, wealthy old family.

I'm obsessed with J. Coletti's Racket Reviews.
I've always had an interest in organized crime, and randomly ran across her channel while searching for info on two particular mobsters. Coletti knows her stuff, and I absolutely love her voice and calm, serene spirit (even when describing absolutely graphic acts of violence).
Something about her voice and manner kept bugging me, as in "She reminds me of SOMEONE, but who is it??" A few more episodes in, and I realized it was Cassidy Hutchinson I was flashing on.
I adore J. And her theme song is a total earworm.

Marco of "Just Dream Italy" does low-key but informative looks at cities and towns in Italy highlighting one, two, or three houses for sale. He usually takes a look at the main plaza/s, a cathedral or principal church, and a bit of a walking tour through the historic center.
His house and apartment choices vary and are meant to show something if the local architectural forms and traditions. Sometimes it's a property for under €100,000, now and then he will show a large, expensive property. Properties might be fully renovated, carefully restored, or in as-found condition. He also incorporates a regional breakfast and/or meal at a typical restaurant to highlight local dishes.
Refreshingly he lacks the hard sell of others so similar typed of videos, and he lets the houses and the locations be the stars. And his videos are excellent in quality and content.

Youtube recently recced videos of people called First Amendment auditors, and I got hooked. Their objective is to exercise their right to take pictures in public/freedom of press. Auditors frequently show up outside churches to see if their right is respected. There is a segment of the auditors who are kinda trolls but even when they explain their actions to priests, pastors, parishioners, etc. these holy people still lose their shit -- every church seems to think the auditor is there to go on a murder spree and police are called even though no crime is being committed.
I watch these videos because it's fascinating to see how hostile people become, for no good reason, but their own fear and lack of knowledge of the law. It's especially eye-opening how so-called holy church people turn unwelcoming to a man with a camera and that people have such entitlement and lose all civility at a moments notice.
