I'm having a scrumptious Marie Callender turkey with dressing tv dinner and a fabulous Hostess streusel coffee cake (individually wrapped) for dessert. Jealous?

A vegetable and cheese omelette made with egg whites and a spinach salad.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | May 10, 2024 9:58 PM |
Fresh peppers and Vidalia onions sauteed in sesame oil and Japanese soy sauce with chopped boneless chicken & shrimp, with Uncle Ben's Quick & Ready brown rice for body. I guess it's a Asian style stew. It was delicious.

I broiled some huge shrimp I bought on the dock on Tuesday, rice pilaf, along with some steamed broccoli and carrots, and a garden salad. And I topped it off with an ice cold diet Dr. Pepper. And the temperature is so wonderful today I ate outside on the deck.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | May 10, 2024 11:37 PM |
I just ordered smothered chicken from Sylvia’s here in Harlem.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | May 11, 2024 12:10 AM |
R18 you don’t need to be 300 pounds to eat a 10 piece nugget and McDonalds cheeseburger. Their burgers aren’t big.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | May 11, 2024 12:18 AM |
I'm either going to eat leftover Papa John's or leftover Popeyes. I'm leaning toward having the pizza tonight and chicken for breakfast tomorrow.

by Anonymous | reply 29 | May 11, 2024 1:03 AM |
R23, for some reason the leftover room temp pizza sounds like a better breakfast. Just my eldergay experience.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | May 11, 2024 1:11 AM |
I love cold pizza for breakfast, r30. It's like an entirely different kind of food.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | May 11, 2024 1:12 AM |
Something that looks better than that.

by Anonymous | reply 33 | May 11, 2024 1:32 AM |
Good for you OP. The last time I ate McDonalds was probably 30 years ago. At least it was a cheap meal back then.

by Anonymous | reply 41 | May 11, 2024 2:37 AM |
I just don’t want to cook every single night. On the other hand I have a freezer stuffed with Omaha steaks and I have to make sides.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | May 11, 2024 2:41 AM |
R6 Sesame oil can't be used at high heat. Please look into this, it's real and unhealthy. Use a high heat oil like avocado oil and add the sesame oil after the vegetables are cooked. Sorry, not trying to shame you.

Nathan's hot dog prepared in the air fryer (too hot and late to start the bbq) topped with ketchup, mustard, slices of dill pickle and diced onion, half cup of pasta salad with feta, 1/3 cup ranch beans with a tad of my friend's honey mixed in and a pamplemousse La Croix.
I'm satiated.

I looked at a very cold, very rare steak for a long time.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | May 11, 2024 9:22 AM |
I had a leftover, heated " meat lovers breakfast burrito" minus the sausage. Then I took off the giant flour tortilla which turned the the thing into a passable ham, bacon and cheese omelette with a quesadilla. It was pretty darn good and will try that again sometime.

A double Western Bacon Cheese from Carl's Jr
...because nothing else was open at 9pm on my way home from work which involves over a one hour commute.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | May 11, 2024 9:46 AM |
I ordered breakfast for dinner. Steak and cheese omelette, hash browns and a side of scrapple. The palate wants what it wants. I could only eat half of it and I will finish it up this morning.
