There are greater distinctions that than, a hooker often has multiple encounters with clients per day, while a porn actor normally would only shoot one video per day but not always. Porn actors are tested prior to shooting a video, hookers are not tested prior to most encounters. A hooker is paid for the time often per hour while a porn actor is paid per event.
