DL catnip extraordinaire. 🍿
by Anonymous | reply 1 | May 5, 2024 12:44 AM |
Actually looks fun
by Anonymous | reply 2 | May 5, 2024 12:45 AM |
Looks fun, but Sarandon is dead to me.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | May 5, 2024 12:48 AM |
This is as close to a “Golden Girls” movie you’re getting, bitches.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | May 5, 2024 12:51 AM |
Four pernicious cunts
by Anonymous | reply 5 | May 5, 2024 12:54 AM |
Is Midler playing younger than her age? Do women still get married when they are 78?
by Anonymous | reply 6 | May 5, 2024 12:54 AM |
And wear white?!
by Anonymous | reply 7 | May 5, 2024 12:55 AM |
Yes.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | May 5, 2024 12:55 AM |
Susan looks like she just walked in off the street and happened to sit in on the shoot.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | May 5, 2024 12:58 AM |
Was I not available?
by Anonymous | reply 10 | May 5, 2024 12:58 AM |
“Four Cunts and a Wedding.”
by Anonymous | reply 11 | May 5, 2024 1:08 AM |
I guess Megan is the ingenue in this group.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | May 5, 2024 1:19 AM |
Why isn’t Ryan directing?
by Anonymous | reply 13 | May 5, 2024 1:21 AM |
R13 No nepo babies.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | May 5, 2024 1:22 AM |
It's nice to see Sheryl Lee Ralph in a feature film.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | May 5, 2024 1:25 AM |
R15 = Sheryl Lee Ralph
by Anonymous | reply 16 | May 5, 2024 1:26 AM |
[quote]It's nice to see Sheryl Lee Ralph in a feature film.
She was offered a role in Dreamgirls and got uppity about it.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | May 5, 2024 2:31 AM |
“Oh are you voting for Jill Stein this year?” “Just shhhhhh”
by Anonymous | reply 18 | May 5, 2024 2:37 AM |
I won't watch anything with traitor hag Sarandon. Fuck her.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | May 5, 2024 2:48 AM |
Four college friends? Maybe they’ll run into and rumble against the cast of “80 for Brady”.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | May 5, 2024 2:53 AM |
I have nothing but sympathy for anyone working with Bette Midler.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | May 5, 2024 3:02 AM |
More like "The Photoshopped Four".
by Anonymous | reply 22 | May 5, 2024 3:39 AM |
R21 - Goldie Hawn
by Anonymous | reply 23 | May 5, 2024 11:44 AM |
Completely miscast. There is no good chemistry between any of these leads. Megan is a one-trick pony and annoying as fuck. Sheryl is palatable but underwhelming. Bette is the peacock but her charm has faded. Susan is lazy now and just collects checks. This will be a complete flop.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | May 5, 2024 1:32 PM |
How did Susan Sarandon get a job?
by Anonymous | reply 25 | May 5, 2024 1:43 PM |
R25 quite big tits.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | May 5, 2024 2:00 PM |
If casting films is like preparing ingredients for a meal, Sarandon is like adding ground glass. Hard pass.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | May 5, 2024 2:04 PM |
I pass when I see Sarandon.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | May 5, 2024 2:17 PM |
After 2016 I wished for Sarandon to die in a grease fire. But it seemed Karma had something even worse in store for her.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | May 6, 2024 11:16 AM |
Bette and Susan - box office poison. Megan - TV star. Sheryl Lee - has she ever made a movie??
by Anonymous | reply 30 | May 6, 2024 11:26 AM |
r30 = TV star-turned-box office poison Debra Messing
by Anonymous | reply 32 | May 6, 2024 11:22 PM |
I assume this is an answer to 80 for Brady.
Looks fun, though. Somewhere Deb Messing is primal screaming into the void over the fact that Sue and Megan are in this together. LMAO
by Anonymous | reply 33 | June 26, 2024 7:04 PM |
Holy fuck, Bette looks like Wayland Flowers' Madame. Overstuffed.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | June 26, 2024 7:04 PM |
R34. Bitch stole my look
by Anonymous | reply 35 | June 26, 2024 7:17 PM |
Those are all the good bits?
by Anonymous | reply 36 | June 26, 2024 8:06 PM |
With Bette, Sheryl Lee & Megan - where’s the musical number?
by Anonymous | reply 37 | June 26, 2024 8:08 PM |
Jokes could be punched up, by a lot. You can see that from space, watching the trailer. Still, should be fun.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | June 26, 2024 8:15 PM |
Honey, what's this? What's going on?
by Anonymous | reply 39 | June 27, 2024 12:05 AM |
Got a link, OP?
by Anonymous | reply 40 | June 27, 2024 12:06 AM |
R40 did you miss the one at R33?
by Anonymous | reply 41 | June 27, 2024 12:38 AM |
"The Fabulous Four aims past the formula trappings and, though its misses might be evident, it also hits the bull’s-eye."
by Anonymous | reply 42 | July 25, 2024 8:51 PM |
Apparentluy its garbage. Small screen stuff.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | July 25, 2024 9:06 PM |
Looks fun enough - these days I need some goofy, low-stress humor
by Anonymous | reply 44 | July 25, 2024 11:09 PM |
Does Bette smoke in this?
by Anonymous | reply 45 | July 25, 2024 11:24 PM |
Slapdash but executed with gusto, “Fabulous Four” feels like it was made after guzzling three bottles of champagne — and honestly, that’s an apropos way to watch.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | July 25, 2024 11:58 PM |
Hoda Kotb must have studied obsequious under Gayle King.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | July 26, 2024 6:20 AM |
It’s such a pity to see once talented and beloved actresses reduced to taking roles in exportation films. These sagging hag films are truly a form of elder abuse.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | July 26, 2024 8:16 AM |
I can’t believe this is a thing.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | July 26, 2024 8:43 AM |
Megan Mullally was ageing well before she caved and bought that generic puffy cheek, small eyed face.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | July 27, 2024 9:08 PM |
It'll come in 4th in its opening weekend at the box office...
by Anonymous | reply 54 | July 28, 2024 1:12 AM |
Which one plays Reed Richards, and which one plays Sue Storm?
by Anonymous | reply 55 | July 28, 2024 1:47 AM |
[quote]Megan Mullally was ageing...
Old enough to have done a Murder She Wrote.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | July 28, 2024 1:51 AM |
I don't see any chemistry with them.
by Anonymous | reply 57 | July 28, 2024 1:55 AM |
I love you, R55, lol
by Anonymous | reply 58 | July 28, 2024 2:04 AM |
That dyed red hair is never a good look.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | July 28, 2024 2:19 AM |
Came in 8th with a little over $1 million from about 1,000 screens
by Anonymous | reply 60 | July 29, 2024 3:50 PM |
R60. Dear Lord...That's embarrassing.
by Anonymous | reply 61 | July 29, 2024 11:57 PM |
Sissy put a curse on it.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | July 30, 2024 1:19 AM |
Which one of them gets startled and screams? That is usually Diane Keaton's job.
by Anonymous | reply 63 | July 30, 2024 2:23 AM |
R63. I see that as the Mullally role.
by Anonymous | reply 64 | July 30, 2024 2:35 AM |
There was an article in USA Today last week about how this movie proves that women over 50 aren't invisible.
Bette you're 78!!!!!
by Anonymous | reply 65 | July 30, 2024 2:40 AM |
Isn't The Golden Girls the inspiration for these old lady comedies? it seems to be the same assortment of character types
by Anonymous | reply 66 | July 31, 2024 2:44 AM |
R66. Except Dorothy wasn't a TikTok "influencer" flashing her panties like in this disaster.
by Anonymous | reply 67 | July 31, 2024 6:05 AM |
I love these kind of movies. Sure they are outrageous, but it is a chance to see lovely actors we loved 50 years ago unafraid to show their wrinkles and thickened waistline but ready for their next adventure, and having conserved their sense of humor. Our bodies may be ravaged by time but our mind and imagination are still 20.
by Anonymous | reply 68 | July 31, 2024 6:37 AM |
R68. Inside this body, I still feel! I still love!
by Anonymous | reply 69 | July 31, 2024 6:39 AM |
Imagine having to get up early to drag yourself to the studio and film this dreck all day. It's practically elder abuse.
by Anonymous | reply 70 | July 31, 2024 6:46 AM |
This was my first time walking out of a movie 45 minutes in. But I could feel this boring, by the numbers, unfunny slog draining my will to live so I had to go.
by Anonymous | reply 71 | August 1, 2024 12:30 PM |
Is this on Peacock yet?
by Anonymous | reply 72 | August 1, 2024 12:32 PM |
Who knew our elderly could be such rascals?! It’s too bad we don’t have two reelers before our films the way we used to. I could see Midler and Sarandon as a comedy team like Thelma Todd and Zasu Pitts only in their eighties.
by Anonymous | reply 73 | August 1, 2024 12:54 PM |
R73. Don't forget about me!
by Anonymous | reply 74 | August 1, 2024 10:52 PM |
r71 You didn't go at all
by Anonymous | reply 75 | August 1, 2024 10:53 PM |
Bette Midler was typical Bette, making faces and shrill. Megan Mullally was a lower octave Karen from "Will and Grace" only with pot instead of booze and pills. Sheryl Lee Ralph was useless and seemed to be there only to check a diversity box. Susan Sarandon looked the entire time like she knew this movie was a mistake. The whole movie felt like a Liftetime tv movie...cheap looking, rushed, AI script, cheap jokes, terrible directing. There's not one moment where I felt like any of these characters were behaving in a realistic manner for women of their age and their place in life, completely unrealistic scenarios and actions.
by Anonymous | reply 77 | August 2, 2024 6:17 AM |
I can't even begin to describe how awkward the whole Michael Bolton scene was. It seriously looked like a wax figure...he didn't move, just a blank stare into space and singing, no movement whatsoever and no interaction with anyone in the scene...extremely weird and uncomfortable.
by Anonymous | reply 78 | August 3, 2024 4:05 AM |
We walked out of the cinema after 30 mins when the "stars" started to sing in harmony whilst flying through the air against which was so obviously a false backdrop.
by Anonymous | reply 79 | August 13, 2024 4:53 AM |
I saw it, it was mild and harmless. But nice to see another group of female stars clowning around.
by Anonymous | reply 80 | August 17, 2024 1:30 PM |
"Old ladies still get high and masturbate!"
by Anonymous | reply 81 | August 17, 2024 1:45 PM |
R81. Did Bette and Sarandon scizzor each other?
by Anonymous | reply 82 | August 17, 2024 3:34 PM |
R79 I had no interest until I read your description.
by Anonymous | reply 83 | August 17, 2024 3:43 PM |
