What air fryer do you use?

I have a Farberware one that came out in 2020 but have been wanting to get a new one. This one doesn’t have any settings like preheat or anything. It’s basic (and cost $120 in 2020). The newer ones all have settings etc.

I don’t know which to get though. I saw a Toshiba that has amazing reviews and is beautiful looking. There was also a Phillips one that has good reviews. I was thinking about Ninja but meh.

There is the Drew Barrymore line at Walmart and they’re gorgeous but I feel they will break down fast. They’re cheap. But pretty. I love the new Paris Hilton one too.

I posted a pic of the Drew Barrymore Rose colored one. It’s sooooo nice. But $69 for a 6QT makes me think something is off. I remember the 3Qt was $20 for Black Friday.

I don’t fry air — I can AFFORD to eat real food.

The Ninja Foodi duel zone fryer. It’s awesome.

I know how to use my oven, so I don't need an air fryer.

The Paris Hilton one is soooo pretty

Is it bigger than a breadbox?

You really need to upgrade to one with 2 removable racks, a roaster attachment and a bunch of options, air fry, broil, toast etc. these things are amazing but the basket one you have is really a starter or a secondary one if you seriously cook with it. I see a future with these tiny homes not needing the built in stove anymore.

The basket is great for making frozen onion rings like a fat whore.

You sound like C. Metz R7.

I really don’t know which air fryer to buy

by Anonymousreply 11May 10, 2024 5:40 PM

I have a toaster oven. It is now being marketed as an air fryer with an “air fryer” setting, but apparently it just uses the convection oven function without any actual changes.

by Anonymousreply 12May 10, 2024 5:47 PM

Then it's not an air fryer R12. Not even close.

by Anonymousreply 13May 10, 2024 5:50 PM

Apparently, it works as one, according to reviews. It has the advantage of doing lots of other things.

I have a Paula Deen 10Q in red. Have had it for years, it works perfectly and turns out amazing things.

Did you really have to use up all your cunt points for the week in an air fryer thread?

by Anonymousreply 17May 10, 2024 8:24 PM

No one comes even close to using up their cunt points here. No one.

by Anonymousreply 18May 10, 2024 8:45 PM

which one is a good brand?

by Anonymousreply 19December 11, 2024 12:34 AM

America's Test Kitchen video. I ended buying a slightly different version of the Instant Vortex Plus that they recommend (the one they actually recommend is hard to find.)

R20, do you like what you bought? I want to cook steak and chicken cutlets in air fryer. Still deciding which one to buy
