Auntie Mame staircase used in other Warner Bros. films
I just realized that the staircase and set used in Auntie Mame was also used for other Warner Bros. films including Two for Tea (1950), Oceans 11 (1960), Parrish (1961), Rome Adventure (1962), The King and Four Queens (1956), The Spirit of St. Louis (1957), So Big (1953), and a few others.
I’ve always loved this set and it should get its own billing in Auntie Mame.

How could you "just realize" that the staircase was used in six other films?

Because I recognized it in Two for Tea and then also thought it might have been the same one in The Spirit of St. Louis. Then I researched the rest.

You can't be high society without a curved stairway. All those movies looked pretty good. I love nasty and rich 😉
