Green eggs and ham!

by Anonymousreply 21April 3, 2024 2:38 AM

Three pounds of ham is a sandwich and an egg-and-ham late supper.

But I don't eat "sliced ham," which sounds like chicken bologna lunchmeat, unless I recently sliced it.

Deli sliced ham? Throw it away?

Your home baked ham? Don't touch it anymore. Divide in 4 portions, cover with clear vegetable stock and also any gelatin leftover from the baking dish. Freeze it.

If only Anne Baxter were still with us. She could chew the scenery and ham it up like nobody’s business.

by Anonymousreply 25April 3, 2024 5:13 AM

Freeze it. And then soup, sandwiches, omelettes, quiche(?), salads. Or just use it has ham - eat it as breakfast meat or with a vegetable for dinner.
