Road House is a huge success

Has anyone seen it? I keep on seeing ads and didn't know what to think. I'm not opposed to it, but it's not something that I thought, "I must watch that."

I turned it off halfway through. I can only get second-hand embarrassment so many times before I turn something off.

That's a terrible photo of Jake. He is aging in a very strange way. I don't know what cosmetic procedures and/or steroids he's doing but he looks ugly.

R4 Well, I think it's fabulous.

I never watched the first one so I'm not likely to see the remake. But the trailer almost makes me want to see it. Jake is charming and I think real-life villain Conor McGregor is the bad guy, so if I were into violence, I'd enjoy seeing him get slapped around.

He's always looked odd. To be honest I just want him to release his exercise routine, he built himself an impressive physique. I'd watch that for ... ok 20 minutes max.

I watched the original and felt embarrassed for Patrick Swayze. I can't go through that again.

Jake's face looks like that when he loses too much weight or works out a lot. Now maybe he did get a bit or work done on his eyes. But if you look at pictures of him f rom Night Crawler, he looked leaner in the face.

His body looks weird in this. I know he did a super workout makeover put on a lot of muscle but something odd about it. Maybe he's too cut, does not look healthy. On the edge of being a tweeker.

Gyllenhaal doesn't look good. He lost too much weight or something.

Jake has ping ponged too often in weight and musculature. That's why his face and body are a bit off.

He looks terrible in the poster R15. Dried up and too hard looking.

He fucked his looks around Nightcrawler almost a decade ago. Never really recovered the glow. He's not young anymore, anyway.

At some point I'll watch this out of curiosity, if only because I like Gyllenhaal.

Still, if you're gonna remake a movie, it makes sense to redo one that isn't good if only because the odds are it'll be better than the first version.

I watched it and thought it wasn't bad for what it is. Generally, I hate Jake Gyllenhaal but Conor McGregor's "angry leprechaun" act was very entertaining to me. That said, I loved the first one and quote it frequently.
