I find it hilarious how Michael Moore began the do not vote for Biden protest vote (uncommitted) in Michigan for the Biden Administrations policy with Israel, and now claims he's concern that the 2024 may be problematic for Biden. I recall how in 2004 he was trying to persuade Ralph Nader not to run as Independent candidate because it will only take votes away from Kerry and help Bush get reelected. Now his actions are basically doing the same thing and helping Trump in 2024.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | March 31, 2024 3:14 AM |
R28 because Michael Moore knows Biden will not be the nominee.

Kal Penn speaks to the primary. I have little doubt that he will vote Democratic in the general.

Well, OP, maybe we should just shelve the whole damn election because Kal Penn's feelings are hurt. Cancel the whole damn shootin' match and crown Trump emperor for eternity. Sounds like a solid, well thought out plan.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | March 31, 2024 1:16 PM |
So he's one of those Queers for Palestine, is he?
by Anonymous | reply 36 | March 31, 2024 1:55 PM |
It doesn’t matter when in the process but anytime you encourage or promote not voting…you are playing with fire.
If Trump is reinstated…this will haunt him forever.
Sometimes people get in the weeds, dig in their heels, and can’t see the big picture.
My guess is he will get super defensive and blame everyone else if Trump gets back in.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | March 31, 2024 2:21 PM |
It's a Primary contest list. Stop losing your shit, people.
It makes no difference to the general election, which hasn't happened yet.
And Biden is still the Democratic candidate, handily. There's no threat or risk here.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | March 31, 2024 2:25 PM |
Wealthy people who are not born in the United States have options, they're detached from the outcome of any election.
If the whole democracy thing is finished, they don't care either way.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | March 31, 2024 2:25 PM |
To be fair, neither does Biden or he would have had January 6 investigated sooner.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | March 31, 2024 3:13 PM |
President Biden is responsible for the current war in Gaza and not investigating J6. Interesting.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | March 31, 2024 3:17 PM |
Any young liberal voter spreading this "they're all equally bad" bullshit should be shot.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | March 31, 2024 3:17 PM |
President Biden is responsible for the current war in Gaza and not investigating J6. Conversely, his predecessor isn't responsible for deaths of millions from covid.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | March 31, 2024 3:19 PM |

by Anonymous | reply 47 | March 31, 2024 4:04 PM |
I don't get people...Biden is doing a great job, especially given Congress. Obama could get nothing done 6 of his eight years due to a GOP-held congress and Senate, including getting his SCOTUS pick in.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | March 31, 2024 4:08 PM |
But r48 people liked him.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | March 31, 2024 4:17 PM |
R28, Michael Moore has a habit of doing shit like that. He did the same thing in 2000 with Bush vs Gore. He claimed there was little difference between Gore and Bush. I think we can all say what BS that is.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | March 31, 2024 4:36 PM |
R48, I'm with you. I think the biggest weakness of the Biden administration is the messaging. They need someone who can really hammer home how great the Biden administration has been.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | March 31, 2024 4:37 PM |
The Biden admin needs to put some young people front and center to do that messaging, R51. Enough with the ANCIENT

by Anonymous | reply 53 | March 31, 2024 4:40 PM |
Did this many people whine about old age being a big deal with Reagan? He had actual Alzheimers during his second term but nobody seemed to care. And it's amusing to me that the same people who whine about old age love Bernie Sanders.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | March 31, 2024 4:42 PM |
The country was much younger back then, R54. Now the young people in the 80s are the OLD PEOPLE NOW and boy are they much more of a mess.

by Anonymous | reply 56 | March 31, 2024 4:44 PM |
R54 Republicans would have whined about Reagan in 1984 if Reagan was running in 1984 with his mind of 1988, and if Reagan’s opponent was the Reverend Al Sharpton who was polling higher than Reagan, and Reverend Al Sharpton was threatening to make Tawana Brawley his running mate.
by Anonymous | reply 57 | March 31, 2024 4:47 PM |
R57 lies. Republicans don't criticize their own. They are clannish and lack such self-awareness.

Does anyone remember when Kal got in trouble during the Obama days? I forget what happened but I remember the story was posted on DL at the time and everyone was saying it was a hookup gone bad or something. Even back then, everyone on DL was insisting that Kal was gay.

by Anonymous | reply 66 | April 1, 2024 2:10 AM |
R54, Reagan was obviously bad for the country in many ways, but in terms of the age issue, he was not as old as Biden is now. Biden is the oldest President in history by several years. Trump is older than Reagan was, too.
by Anonymous | reply 67 | April 1, 2024 8:18 AM |
I hate these “he’s too old, so I’m not gonna vote” whiners!
Is Kal Penn also anti-Kamala? As a gay Indian American voice, he needs to be slapped.
His acting career had dried up, now that he’s too fat and middle aged. He’s bitter. It must suck to be his husband. I

So we are going to fixate on Biden's age when the president the GOP reveres had ACTUAL ALZHEIMER'S IN HIS SECOND TERM? Yes, makes total sense.

As noted Reagan's disability developed shortly before he finished his second term and left office. Not before he was even nominated for his first.
by Anonymous | reply 75 | April 1, 2024 1:36 PM |
Reagan's mental limitations became obvious early in his second term.

Favreau was hired as Obama's speechwriter shortly after Obama's election to the United States Senate. Obama and Favreau grew close, and Obama referred to him as his "mind reader". He went on the campaign trail with Obama during his successful presidential election campaign.
As Obama's mind reader, this must mean Obama has not changed his mind of his earlier prescient comment: "Don't Underestimate Joe's Ability To Fuck Things Up ".

I actually think Joe has handled the Gaza matter well up to this point, but I have from the start felt he would at some point stick a knife into Israel's back.
Party support now is about evenly split. It's about time, especially now that 𝑫𝒐𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒓 Jill Biden has jumped in.
Failure in Afghanistan and Gaza would be two impressive bookends for his time in the White House.
